The Tick: Normally when you think about your average super hero theme the last thing that comes to your mind is "Scat Singing", but the Tick is far from your average superhero. And this theme song is far from average too.
Batman Beyond is EXCELLENT, that is a magnificent theme song. Very hard edge and I felt it was a brilliant show to boot. Everyone made too big a deal of comparing it directly to the original Batman, which is kind of unfair because no Batman toon will ever truly compare to the superb first animated series.

The Tick was a weird one, it was jazzy and funny at the same time. I always thought all those weird "da da dwee dah" lyrics was just them being goofy. Some of my other favorite US TV openings include:

Godzilla the series: Very dark, cool melodramatic music. Some really neat visuals with the monsters attacking in the intro, and for just instrumental music I felt it made for a very great TV tune.

Attack of the killer tomatoes: You wanna talk about memorable songs? This one just screams catchyness. Its goofy, funny, and SO damn addicting to listen to. Never get tired of hearing it.
