She did come right out of the carton; I got her out and was out looking for a good place for a photo within 15 minutes. The boxes these statuettes ship in are pretty nice themselves, regardless of which show/manga they're from. Most of the writing on them is in Japanese so I have no idea what it says but I'm sure the phrase "Collect them all!" is on there somewhere. Like I need any encouragement.
Hopefully I'll find some more good ones in 2008.
