I watched all three of the shorter Wallace and Gromit films on UKTV Gold this afternoon, ie:
A Grand Day Out,
The Wrong Trousers and
A Close Shave. A funderful experience.
I managed to resist the urge to watch Raymond Briggs'
the Snowman this year, which definitely saved me a lot of emotional grief and a box of Kleenex. Don't get me wrong, I love that cartoon and its beautiful, utterly haunting tone and style dearly, but its notoriously brutal conclusion just rips out my heart and splatters it across the room every time.
