I'm quite tempted to start taking bets upon which antiquated cartoon franchise will fall victim to this live action remake trend next.

Seriously, if these people ever get their grubby little mitz upon the Peanuts franchise then I'm giving up on humankind once and for all and getting started on the long and complicated process of integrating myself within a colony of wild chimpanzees.
