In other news, Dwayne Johnson chatted to Sci Fi Wire about the movie and says that his character was created for the movie.
"It's a brand, new character that we created for the story. Agent 23 is Control's greatest agent and I am Steve Carell's best friend in the movie. Physically, aesthetically, we're funny. And then, of course, as the movie goes on and our relationship continues to grow and many twists happen in the movie, it's great. We're excited about that."
He also gave us an idea of how Steve will tackle Maxwell Smart.
"Pete Segal, as well as Steve Carell, approached the project with great respect, especially Carell. [He] approached it with great respect, especially to the Adams family. That was important. They came to the set. It was great. And he wanted to do right by them. He really, really nailed it. You'll see." 
The film will also feature cameos by some famous actors.
"There's a whole bunch of cameos. Bill Murray has a cameo."
