Heh, same here. I'm a tad ashamed to admit it, but I've probably deployed more Cheese quotations than any other character in the show (I once greeted some wild rabbits with the line "Hi, doggies", which went totally over my friends' heads, the Foster's-ignorant raggamuffins). I guess his quotes are just easier, because they're fairly non-sequitur in nature.
I'm certainly not saying I dislike Cheese, but I too have to shrug my shoulders in bewilderment at his overwhelming popularity. He puts me in mind of a line from
Pulp Fiction, "You ARE a character. Doesn't mean you HAVE character." He can occasionally be funny, but in comparison to the other characters, he seems to be noteable for his lack of any real personality more than anything else. For such a wild card, he's kinda monotonous.
