Huh, I have a friend who will be ecstatic to hear this (if she hasn't already). She's a HUGE Karate Kid fan. So much so that a remake will look good to her. But I personally am not so sure a remake is the best thing. If it's true, though, good luck to Lil' Smith. He's bound to be a big actor like his daddy is.
