I grew up listening to Ennio Morricone, famous for movie soundtracks like The Good, The Bad & The Ugly and The Mission so I listen to his music all the time which is good because there's so much of it. I was lucky enough to see him conduct his own masterpeices last year which was pretty great but sadly not as loud as I like to hear it. My current favourite Morricone track is The Tragedy of a Ridiculous Man but that'll change in days or weeks.

Er...lots of good ones already mentioned Prokoviev, Wagner...Mussorgsky's good too and lovely old Elgar. Anyone like modern stuff like Nyman or Glass? Steve Reich is always worth a listen too. On the more popular side of things, Brian Eno is still knocking out good music but I think the future will probably identify Stevie Wonder as the Beethoven of this era. Certainly hope so anyway.
