I've got disturbing news for Sweeney fans. It seems Warner wants to aim for a PG-13. Because a Grand Guginol musical about a barber who kills his customers while his landlady bakes them into pies translates so well into a PG-13 film. I sincerely hope they don't take the scissors to what has to be one of the best written musicals of all time.

It's a real shame too. I was really hoping for an R rating. I've been reading quite a few articles lately, and if Burton gets his way, it will be an R rating. But the articles are also saying that people want him to cut out a lot of the gore. Which really really...sucks. It won't really be 'Sweeney Todd' without that gore
