That's true of everyone, I think. We all need a certain minimum level of physical attraction, which can be enhanced by personality, but unfortunately there are limits, and there are people who one will never be attracted to, never desire a romantic relationship with, no matter how much one may otherwise enjoy their company. There is a lady in my building that I've known for years, for example, who I've spent hours talking with, and I look forward to those times when we hang out in the lobby and chat, but anything more than that isn't possible because the desire just isn't there and it never will be. It's sad, especially for those who for whatever reason are always on the receiving end. The lonliness can be very depressing, very painful. But that's just the way it is.
