I don’t get to pay too much attention to him, because his cage stays closed in my room so my kitten doesn’t get to him, like she has so many times, but I do always check in on him and make sure he’s doing fine. He is quite the bundle of joy to have around, and does love to be held, so I hold him as much as possible.
And now for my Guinea Pig, Roger. Oh boy, what a pet, Roger is white and gray, always nervous, always hungry, which leads to his “chubbiness factor”. Roger refuses to eat out of a bowl, when I put his food in a bowl, he knocks it over. Even if I tape it down, he finds out how to get the bowl out. Because he was so stubborn, I had to begin laying his food out on his little platform for him to eat. Ugh. Always chewing away at the bits and pieces that hold his little cage together, always getting stuck in situations, and crying because he’s out of all the food I just gave him ten minutes ago, squealing all night, while I try to get some bloody sleep, this guy, is quite a handful.
