the article itself doesn't upset me, its tone is sarcastic but not insulting. It's the hosers who say garbage like "About time that crappy format died..." that bug me (like your brother). I have a hard time understanding why anyone would jump for joy at the death of a media format.
VHS is still a servicable format (I'll be recording tonight's Fosters on a VHS tape), despite the haters' attempts to say otherwise.
That said, Betamax was better.
