I saw this GREAT movie this afternoon, and it rocked.
Christian Bale was already one of my favorite actors (because of a certain movie about newsboys, along with
Swing Kids and
Batman Begins), but he was phenominal. He can play anything, I swear- the singing newsboy, the Nazi Hitler Youth kid/rebel, the hero, a serial killer (okay, so I didn't see
American Psycho, because I'm not allowed. Oh, and I don't really want to see my favorite actor go crazy and kill people), and now, a genius magician dude.
He's fabulous.
A great movie, and I would recommend it to anyone. My DAD loved it, and he hates practically everything.
A word of caution- if you do see it, I recomend keeping an eye out for detail. Otherwise, you will be completely and udderly confused.
