This is just the latest chapter in what has been some of the most sickening news I have ever heard. Weeks back, a local furry costume designer's sister and the sister's boyfriend were walking the sister's four dogs when a drunk lunatic tore through a stopsign. The dogs were all killed and scattered everywhere. Hari's leg was knocked clean off and landed yards away. Gem was injured but released from the hospital after several days. Hari died this morning. Witnesses say Hari pushed Gem out of the way and took the full force of the impact to save her. I am so sick over this right now.
