The Academy is biased against anything that is animated, funny, or sci-fi, isn't dramatic, or fails to make an "artistic statement", whatever the hell that means.
Toy Story 3 did get Best Animated Feature, which I can live with (although it deserved more). Of more interest to me than the actual awards is the bit where Best Supporting Actress winner Melissa Leo, live on stage, dropped the first F-bomb in Academy history.
