There's been a lot of road construction at one end of the block our apartment is on, which is always annoying. But today I found out what (or part of what) they've been doing: we're getting lights. Traffic lights and crosswalk lights. We totally need those, it can be hard to get in and out of this street. So that's good.
I hope they do the other end of this street too, I often jaywalk there to get to my doctor's office because otherwise you have to walk like 2 blocks extra to get to a crosswalk.
