I can understand why emos and other similar trends piss you off. And I guess I know how it feels, since I have to put up with the whole reggaeton craze that just pisses me off.

But I do agree with scary dreams; I'm SICK of society's fascination with tearing down and mocking everything that doesn't fit their twisted perception of what's "acceptable". My frustration extends far beyond the emo label, but since I'd completely derail this thread if I expressed myself in full, I'll stay on-topic.

I'm starting to believe that the people who whine about and mock "emo" are more annoying than the "emos" themselves. I'm especially talking about the idiots who actually think jokes relating to crawling and Linkin Park are still funny.

This doesn't include you, kay, since at least you can tell apart your hatred of the music and style from the actual people who like them.
