Thank you, friends! I had a really wonderful day on Thursday - the sun was good enough to come out for the occasion, and I spent a lot of the day taking some pretty extensive walks around the areas of town which I've very rarely taken the time out to explore. Here are some pictures of the squirrel friend I made upon my travels. He actually came a lot closer to me than these pictures suggest, trouble is that he wouldn't really hold still for very long. He is a squirrel, after all.

Some great news is that I should be getting a DSi for my birthday...which does mean that I'll have to wait until April before I get my paws upon it, but it should be worth it. In the meantime, I'm using some money which my uncle gave me to get hold of
Pokemon Pearl and
Nintendogs, games which I have always wanted to play (anyone who follows the Post to Post thread in the Spam Section will know how disappointed I was when the internal battery recently died in my copy of Pokemon Crystal, so I'm really thrilled at the thought of finally being able to upgrade to Pearl).
