Clubs

So ,are any of your part of clubs or sports or stuff at your school? I'm current;y part of a role-playing club at my school, and a couple of friends and I are going to start a foster's club. Wheee!

Eh... since I'm the standard loser of "the group" who never wants to leave school, I'm in tons of clubs. Right now I'm in the school's speach team, environmental club, art club, science fiction club, and chess team. Best part about chess club is that I have no idea how to play chess, but I still show up every day. ;)

A role playing club sounds amazing... in sci fi we play some d and d from time to time, and that's about it... the rest of the time there is wasted on Halo or DDR. :D What do you do in the rp club?

Lol. Back when I was a young'in, I tried to join an rp group at my middle school and was rejected for being female. 8D

Later in high school I had a waiting list of people who wanted to join the original-setting campaign I ran at lunchtime.

What? They can't kick you out for being a female! That's discrimination!

Well, I'm in Octagon Club which is basically a club for people who want to volunteer. I'm also in Asian Club. I wanted to join Pyschology Club and American Cancer Society, but they're both on the same day as Asian Club.

You sound pretty cool actually. I'd join most of those clubs. What's DDR? To me that means the German Democratic Republic, which no longer exists. Learn to play chess, though! It's great. Too much for my pedestrian brain though, I usually lose.

I'm now only a member of the Royal Horticultural Society. It stinks. Like so many other clubs it's just an excuse to get fees off you. Lucky this forum is free.

Anyway I'm not at school, so I'm kind of intruding on this thread.

Sorry Dee-dee

DDR is Dance Dance Revolution, that dance arcade game you see at the mall with the arrows that scroll on the screen. You have to step on the arrows on the floor as the ones on the screen appear. :D *Bragging moment* I totally rock at it... lol I know I'm lame.

I graduated recently, but whenever I was in HS, I was in band and I was the president of the drama club. I was kinda in the forensics club, but I seriously didn't know that I was until the end of the year! I was also in the chess club for the fifth and sixth grade. It's funny because I'm great at chess but I've actually NEVER EVER won a single game of checkers!

(You guys have cool-sounding clubs... I wish we had neato stuff like that :( The only cool one we had was the forensics club. We watched CSI a lot and got to do fingerprinting and learn about serial killers!)

Basically we decide on what game to play, make characters, and rp them.

My art teacher said she'd like to see an ep of fosters! She'll sponsor our club. *wheee!*

My school has crappy clubs.

I'm in band and the play, and I'm joining computer club and the lit magazine.

But we don't have anything cool.

It stinks.

-Marty :goo:

EDIT: Eh, skipped the lit magazine- I've got enough on my plate. However, did join select chorus.
