Powerpuff Girls, Danger Mouse being revived
Cartoon Network has announced that The Powerpuff Girls will return in 2016 in an all-new series. Stephanie Gladden tells me that Kevin Dart will probably helm the series as director.
CBBC, the children's TV arm of the BBC, is bringing Danger Mouse back next year in 52 eleven-minute installments. It will be made at Boulder Media in Dublin, Ireland with the show's original producer Brian Cosgrove on board as a consultant. Robert Cullen (The Amazing World Of Gumball) will be the show's director. The show will be fitted out for today's techo-savvy viewers (DM's eyepatch, for example, will be an "I-patch").
