RIP: Richard Dawson
 

Just heard on the radio that comedian Richard Dawson has died at age 79. Perhaps best known as the host of Family Feud (1976-85, 1994-95), regular on Match Game and Cpl. Newkirk on Hogan's Heroes, he lent his voice to cartoons a couple of times. He was Snipe in Hanna-Barbera's 1972 TV feature Oliver And The Artful Dodger, and crooked movie director Fritz Von Fritz (disguised as Erich Von Erich) in the Hong Kong Phooey episode "The Great Movie Mystery."
