Or as we middle-agers tend to call it, age 30/25. Mom took me to lunch and my younger sister treated me to dinner (along with a couple of hilarious cards) and I've got cake and my niece's pan brownie to work through.

Many folks have told me I don't look 55. I chalk that up to being a native SoCal boy and I've never been a partier--never smoked, drank or did drugs. (That being the case, why does Captain D's give me a senior discount every time I go there? ;) )

Still, not a bad day at all.
