RIP: Gary Coleman

Former child star Gary Coleman (Diff'rent Strokes--NBC, 1978-85) has died of a brain hemmorhage at age 42.

More here.

I'm very sorry to hear this. :'( However, I have to say it - when they say brain hemmorhage...well, isn't that basically a stroke? I'll bet people are making tasteless "different strokes" remarks. :/

The news just broke to me 10-15 minutes ago. He was much too young, so sad. RIP Gary. :bloosad:

I know he had some problems, but it's still sad to see him go. When I heard he was in a coma, I had a feeling we'd end up hearing news like this.:( R.I.P.

They're not the same thing but yeah, there will be tasteless jokes anyway. :P

People with a brain hemorrhage are less likely to survive than those with a stroke (most that survive one deal with some sort of disability for life). Not too long ago, rock musician Bret Michaels survived a brain hemorrhage he had earlier in the spring. Coleman was not so fortunate. Sad to see him go.
