Bubblegum Crisis: The Movie
 

Not a whole lot is known about this deal recently made at this year's Cannes Film Festival, but all that IS known is that:

• It's currently in pre-production
• It's set for a 2012 release
• Six countries are uniting to produce the film (consisting of Japan, Australia, Canada, China, Singapore and the UK)
• It'll be filmed in Australia! (W00T! 8D)
• Most of the cast will be a mix of Caucasian and Asian stars
• Benjamin Toh is the executive producer

I've actually never got into the BubblegumCrisis OVAs. although I have watched one of them (I thnk they're like, 8 or 9 of them; too lazy to check right now :P)

But I trust that it will be a faithful adaption by the looks of it, especially since Japan is working on it too.
