That is so sad! I remember listening to him while growing up, my dad really liked his show. And even as a child, I found him interesting to listen to. He had a different voice than I'd ever heard, and I actually enjoyed listening to the topics he talked about. He's a big part of my childhood.

RIP Mr. Harvey. :'( Now it's your turn to have a "Gooood Daaaaaa-ie!"

I used to listen to him a lot. I really enjoyed Mr. Harvey's programs.

"Paul Harvey....good day!"

We'll miss you, Paul. Rest in peace.

Paul Harvey was mainly on radio, but he also had a two-minute capsule for TV stations during their local news in the late 60s/early 70s.

Someone in a radio call-in show in our area did a quite humorous impersonation of him:

Hello, America...stand by for news! Hickory dickory dock, three mice ran up the clock. The clock struck one; the other two escaped with...minor...injuries. And now you know...the rest of the story. Paul Harvey--good day!

8D Yeah, he had a great sense of humor. Aw man, I wish I could have heard that myself.

The name doesn't ring any bells with me whatsoever, but from what everyone's said he sounds like he was a very entertaining person to listen to, and I'm sure he'll be missed.

How sad! I grew up listening to Paul Harvey on the radio. My parents were real fans of him & his witty radio conversations.
