2009 Razzies "winners"
In a ceremony held last night, here's who "won":
Worst Picture: The Love Guru Worst Actor: Mike Myers, The Love Guru Worst Actress: Paris Hilton, The Hottie And The Nottie Worst Supporting Actor: Pierce Brosnan, Mamma Mia! Worst Supporting Actress: Paris Hilton, Repo: A Genetic Opera Worst Screen Couple: Paris Hilton and either Christine Lakin or Joel David Moore, The Hottie And The Nottie Worst Remake, Sequel, Ripoff or Prequel (Combined category for 2008): Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Worst Director: Uwe Boll, 1968: Tunnel Rats; In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale and Postal Worst Screenplay: The Love Guru (Mike Myers and Graham Gordy) Lifetime Achievement: Uwe Boll (Germany's answer to Ed Wood) |
As much as I'm not happy that Indiana Jones 4 took the award this year, I'm at least glad that Speed Racer didn't win.
Hopefully the MTV Movie Awards will give Indiana Jones 4 (and hopefully Speed Racer and Get Smart) it's respect. |
As far as all this happy "Crystal Skull" bashing goes, F%#K the Razzies! :edmad:

I guess I'm the only person who finds Crystal Skull winning the award for Worst Sequel to be kind of funny. Oh well.
I was never what you'd call a huge fan of the original trilogy, so I didn't have any real kind of emotional baggage riding on this project. Which may account for why I had no particularly strong feelings about the finished product either way. Didn't loathe it (as some hardcore Indie fans I know did), didn't like it. It left me completely emotionless. Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, awful as it was, at least put a smile on my face. |
I'm a hardcore Indy fan & I loved KOCS. I get angry over the bashing, the only thing that I didn't like was the spaceship & that it felt too short.

I dont think I've seen any of these movies, now that I think about it. So I guess I'm really indifferent about all of it right now. |
IMO, it's the same old Indiana Jones we all know. The sci fi stuff is on screen for like 3-5 minutes.
