Say Goodbye to Foster's
Those of you who have seen http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3069
Knows that Foster's is going to end after it's sixth season, it's fourth year-to-be. I originally wrote in the thread about it, a couple of times to be exact, but then decided to make a Memorial Video for Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJXieY3xtAE "Series - 2004 - 2008 I'll miss you, Foster's." |
Ok, when the color started coming into the picture toward the end and it started looking blurry, was it my screen or was it because my eyes were filled with tears??
Very well done, Ant. Awesome vid, a perfect tribute to our favorite show. It will be sorely missed. :bloosad: :macwor: |
As soon as Madame Foster showed up... I lost it. She was everything to us all... this is a beautiful video.
|
You're just determined to break my heart here, aren't you, ant? :'(
Awesome video, but let's also keep in mind that we still have most of Season Six yet to go before having to say our final goodbyes. The fat lady has yet to sing as far as Foster's is concerned. ;D |
Okay, so I'm about to watch it now, and I already have tears in my eyes. Okay, here goes...
:( Awwww. I had to try so hard not cry. I'm still fighting tears. Very nice tribute. Very nice. |
Well, that was really well done. I get the feeling we'll be seeing a fair amount of these up on the Youtubes pretty soon, once word breaks out.
|
a nicely done vid..good job!
though it's sad to know we won't see any more new episodes after season six ended |
Yeah, and from what I am thinking, the last episode (that triple length episode) could air November 27th, 2008 (Thanksgiving in the USA) as the finale of the annual day-long Fosters marathon. An outstanding piece, antgirl1.

FHFIF is gonna end it's series? That's 2 bad. I hope they show reruns of the show.

Realistically speaking, and looking back at CN's history, it seems unlikely that they'll continue re-running Foster's, say maybe a year after the last episode airs. I mean, they no longer show Powerpuff, Dexter's, Samurai Jack, and countless other great cartoons from only a few years ago (ok, I'm old).
Hopefully they'll have more episodes available for streaming on CN Video, and I'm expecting that new DVDs come out soon. The iTunes stuff is simply unacceptable to me, it costs more buying individual episodes than buying the season DVD, there are no subtitles (that I know of), and it's DRMed (I think...)! |
