Happy Easter
 

No Easter thread? :terrconf: Well we did the Easter thing, dad and uncle came over and I fed everyone. Only I decided to mix it up, no ham this year. Instead I did an Italian dinner, with lasagne, Caeser salad, stuffed mushrooms, sausage, etc, and a from-scratch 4 layer lemon cake for dessert. We colored eggs last night so we can have egg salad this week. :cheesegrin:

I had the traditional ham dinner at my grandmothers, it was good but it would have been better if not for the fact I am feeling kind of ill right now. There is a nasty cold going around my part of the world and I think I may have caught it.

Aw well, nothing a little home made macaroni, ham and cheese can't fix. (my grandmother let me keep the left over ham.)

Yeah, happy Easter, all. I've never actually been lucky enough to experience a white Christmas within my lifetime, though today, oddly enough, I had my first ever white Easter. You can tell that it's come early this year. A shame in a way, since I do like to savour the cheering Easter atmosphere, with all it's all cute fluffy bunnies and baby chickens at every turning. I enjoy this holiday so much better than Xmas.

i went to visit grandma, but other than that it wasnt much different than any other day. although all the candy is pretty cool too.

Well, it's pretty much over now for most people, but Happy Easter everyone! Hope it was a wonderful one. Filled with good food, family, and candy. :bloosmirk:
