2008 Annie winners
Last night, the Annies were doled out to the best in cartoon making over the past year. With the exception of Robot Chicken, Cartoon Network was pretty much shut out.

I can live with the results. Some choices were good, some not so good, but that's the way the medium of animation goes, so that's fine. Congratulations to El Tigre, Futurama and Creature Comforts for snagging awards this year. Other the rat movie, I believe those were good choices. However, I'd have liked to see Chowder be nominated. It did come out last year (albeit near the end of it), and I think it's a fabulous, quirky show. Ah, well. Maybe next year. |
I see a lot of victories for Ratatouille within that list. That makes me happy. :D

Looks like Ratatouille cleaned up pretty well, which is nice-- it was a good movie. It's a little sad to see that CN wasn't on the list very much. :( Did they get any nominations in those categories? Sorry this is a little late. Please forgive my unintentional forum faux pas.

Chowder, Foster's, Billy & Mandy, and My Gym Partner's A Monkey all got nominations in different categories.
