Taking a Leap (Frog) in Learning
A new game based on Foster's aimed a kindergarten to second grades (ages 5 through 8) is now available from Leap Frog for their Leapster learning toys. In it, Mac has to help caring for the littler imaginary friends while keeping Blooregard out of trouble while kids learn spelling and phonics.
It's available online at leapfrog.com on the interwebs and likely at a brick and mortar store or online shop near you. |
Ah yes, we sell them at a Target I work at... the first day we had them out, they were pretty much gone the next. Now that we have so many locations for Leapster cartridges, we shouldn't have a problem making kids happy to learn word association with their favorite imaginary friends.

Now that is cool.
I mean, I definitly would imagine that Leap Frog would make something like that and that is in fact a good idea. |
I also saw it at Target a few weeks ago (while searching and searching and SEARCHING for 3D glasses). It was cool seeing something "new" with Foster's. On top of that, I saw an ad on TV for the Leapster, and the game the kid was playing in the ad for a second had Mac and Bloo on it. It kind of surprised me, but I was delighted. :)

Sounds cute! Good to see the show being used for entertainment and educational purposes.

Ooh... cool! I'm waiting for the site to load, but it sounds awesome!
Man, now all I need is the system and the game and I could take it with me when I visit my Little Sister! (I'm in Big Brothers, Big Sisters.) |
Oh, dear... the customer reviews on the Toys R Us site were less than charitable:
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...84#showReviews I was unaware that the word "stupid" was considered to be foul language. Gosh golly gee, maybe we should stop using it here, just to be safe. ::) |
Sigh, mere words cannot express my feelings after reading those "reviews".
However, these pictures can. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...Facepalm-1.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...a/Facepalm.jpg |
Ok, that's as dumb as that other reviewer saying a few years back that Ed, Edd, and Eddy are more "kid friendly" than Foster's is. It made some people laugh, but it made me kind of mad. :sadbendy: That's so stupid! (whoopsie, I said a bad word!)
Hehe, nice pictures T. 8D |

Seriously. The 'stupid' controversy is beyond stupid. |
