In "Crime After Crime", Bloo dismantled the bus, but then how was it in one piece when Mr. Herriman reclaims his carrots when he lifts the hood?

It may have been an animation mistake. It happens a lot more often than you think in animation.

I would say because it is a cartoon,

some people say this would be considered a mistake or a goof, but I think cartoons do not need to mimic reality so therefor it is ok for things like this to exist in a cartoon. It is the imperfections in a cartoon that help seperate fantasy from reality.
