Can someone please tell me what it takes to get to the third level of Shutterbug. I've done level 2 up to 20 and still no change.

Is it a points thing or is it a level thing?

it's by points, and you have to be a great player

So that means capturing every single friend that flashes in front of the screen, right? Are there any tricks I'm missing?

Your question makes it sound like you simply haven't unlocked the third level? I'm sorry but that's how it sounds.

TIP: go for the 100 pt bonus points,
bear in window, level1 ,
ghost level2
UFO level3

Tip: get 2 friends in one shot for double points.
TIp: the large frame runs slower (one shot per pop up)
Tip: normal frame can take up to 3 shots per pop up
Tip: skip the shot if they are too close to dutchess or terrance or bloo
(they will be back)
Tip: get the time, point and camera bonuses.
Tip: keep your eye on who you need and aim for them if the shot is free.
Tip: carefull of terrance becase he comes up just after the friends (level2,3)
Tip: You can sometimes squeeze a shot even when dutches is on top of the friend.(you cannot with terrance)

Hey, thanks, this is precisely what I'm looking for! I kept avoiding the ghosts. It was obvious about the bigfoot in the window in level 1, but I think I got confused on the ghosts with Halloween and everything. Duh!

Ok ... so ... I got to, like, over 10,000 points in level 2 of Shutterbug and still didn't get past to last 3, and I didn't get any buddies.

Any input?

Did you unlock level 3 of the game?

I got a buddy in level 2 at around 15,000 points.

No, I didn't unlock level 3 ... is there something I should be doing? I've always assumed it would unlock when I achieve the right points or something.

Please help ... this is killing me!

You can only unlock game levels after filling up your popularity bar and completing an adventure with Bloo. Once you score enough points to get all the prizes on a particular level, the rest is just vanity (says the guy who's insanely jealous of the people with worldwide high scores). :scaryberry:

Do a favor for a character (Wilt, Ed, Frankie, or Mac) every SINGLE day, and soon you will see this:

Then go to the game room, walk up to the game you want to unlock the next level of, and press Z - it will ask if you want to unlock a level, select Yes. Then you will be able to access the next level.

OOOOOOHHHHH ... duh ... so you don't have to just unlock games, you can unlock levels, too.

OH cool ...

Technically you only unlock Levels.

Most Games have Level1 locked so it appears as though you are unlocking games, however some games come with Level1 already unlocked.

so the typical gameflow goes something like this:
log in regularly,
Do chours, (ask a favor to complete one chore)
do a favor for one friend.
when citizenship bar is full, DO an adventure with Bloo
When popularity bar is full unlock a single level of one minigame
Play the minigame level that was unlocked to get all the collectables.

to see if there are more collectables
or what score you need to achive the collectable,
look at the high score list for the mini-game,
there is a different tab for each level.
if a gift box is on the score list
then there is at least one or more collectables
to collect from that level of the mini-game.

Naturally some of these tasks can be done out of order,
and it is not always best to accept the first favor offered by a friend.
sometimes a friend will only offer a particular favor until you do it.
ect. ect. ect. .............
