what is your fav video game

mine is parappa the rapper :) for the ps1

GrimTheLost 11-09-2006 12:34 PM

Mine is any of the Spider-Man games, but Parappa is also a good game.

Kzinistzerg 11-09-2006 02:07 PM

Lets see, Oblivion and Morrowind rank pretty high, but good ol' Raiden and Montezuma's Revenge are pretty good. Then again, no one can resist the zombie-splattering fun of Doom II... I guess Mechwarrior was the best, overall, becuase the Battletech universe also has books in it, too.

Cassini90125 11-09-2006 02:28 PM

Sims 2. :)

Mr. Marshmallow 11-09-2006 02:41 PM

Tech Romancer (robot fighting game from Dreamcast), anything Starfox, Smash Bros Melee, Halo, Sonic the hedgehog games.

And absolutely ANYTHING to do with the Jak and Daxter game series: Jak and daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X: Combat racing and Daxter for the PSP.

I am OBSESSED with the Jak series and I loved it so much I actually cosplayed as him.

Voxxyn 11-09-2006 03:02 PM

Super Mario 64, perhaps my most beloved game of all time. Ocarina of Time, Half-Life 1 & 2, and the entire Metroid series are also excellent.

Nyo 11-09-2006 03:30 PM

Anything that has to do with Mario or Sonic. Or The Sims.

taranchula 11-09-2006 03:40 PM

Oh definantily, at least to a point. FF VI is by far the best of the FF series, and my second favorite game.

My first favorite is the Xenosaga series on PS 2, that series being the only reason I chose to get a PS 2.

Kzinistzerg 11-09-2006 06:15 PM

Sparky: Atari games ROCK. That's why I have Montezuma's Revenge up there.

billytheskink 11-10-2006 08:40 AM

Military Madness for the Turbo Grafx 16.

Fomalhaut 11-10-2006 09:13 AM

The Sims 2, Neverwinter Nights, Pool of Radiance, Icewind Dale... basically, anything in which I can make my own characters. That's what counts for me. Oh, and the good old Solitaire before writing :)

SkittleMonkey 11-10-2006 09:52 AM

All of the Dynasty Warriors games, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Another Wonderful Life, and Magical Melody, all the Pokemon games for GB/GBC/GBA, aaand I think that's just about it.

Invader Bloo 11-10-2006 10:12 AM

vinny 11-10-2006 11:44 AM

im a need-for-speed nerd myself. i used to only play super smash bros and go to big comps at school. and i rember befor that it was that sonic game.

Medikor 11-10-2006 12:00 PM

I have to agree with Tarantula. VI is fatastic. Chrono Trigger is another of my all time faves. Final Fantasy IX, the Starfox series, Smash Bros. series, Castlevania, Metriod and Mega-man are all great. But the Fire Emblem series is fantastic aswell!

Aww, too bad.
I'm a speed demon. I have NFS III for PSI, and I actually unlocked the Jaguar by winning the tournament. But then the PSI failed to function properly, so my dad bought a PSII but threw out the PSI memory card. They don't make PSI memory cards anymore, so I can't save the progress of any PSI game I play, which sucks because I can't get my Jaguar back either. :P

don't see how that's weird. Many vintage arcade games are fun, something that can't be said about so many games these days.

It always baffles me when my friends hype the technical specs of their newest video game system, never bringing up the games. It's all about the games, at least that's the way I feel.

On another note, I'm not sure if any of the Spiderstation 3's that have been purchased have actually been played. I've heard next to nothing about the games out for the machine, just the "mind-boggling" specs of the thing.

Partymember 12-07-2006 03:41 PM

no, i mean i get chills and an adrenaline rush. Rockin' the little joystick eating dots and getting chased by ghosts, man.

billytheskink 12-07-2006 08:29 PM

that's not really weird, but it is pretty keen

Partymember 12-08-2006 07:53 AM

Pac-Man, Asteroids, Centipede, i also like the old FF Tactics RPG, that is some good ol' fashioned Dungeons and Dragons roleplayin' right there. and FF 9, the earlier bits were the best, i really loved the characters and setting and plot line, but towards the end it kind of lost something, you had to fight like 4 bosses in rapid succession that had no impact on the game's storyline or anything. Oh well, Vivi rocks, and fighting through the Ice Cavern, Evil Forest, Burmecia, the Mage's Village, etc. were great. Really really great for its originality and vibrancy. The game gushes with that 70's feeling of tripptastic roleplaying. Get it if you don't have it already, buy it used @ EB.

Sievers 02-20-2007 05:31 AM

hmmmm i love the Silent Hill and GTA Series  8-)
