The game has *OFFICIALLY* ended

The Fosters House Party Game....has stopped forever....
That game meant a lot to me I never got to win back all the stuff I lost during the crash.

Sparky 06-15-2009 12:30 PM

Thanks for the report. I wouldn't have known otherwise as I stopped playing a long time ago. I also had lost a lot of my work and that didn't exactly encourage me to continue. :/

benify 06-16-2009 03:03 PM

The game is *OFFICIALLY* endned

yes its true. that long running game doesn't exist anymore. if you check to the bfahp page, it sas it ended. well, it did kill time for me. forget it guys, its GAME OVER!. how do you guys feel?

Sparky 06-16-2009 03:24 PM

Zim made a thread for this just yesterday so I've merged them. Your title is clearer though, so I will re-title this thread.

Bloo4Ever 06-18-2009 12:22 AM

That's truly unfortunate. I always intended to get back in the game after my departure from it in early 2008. Guess I'll never get that chance :(

Aside from that, I'm not sure why this is slightly ticking me off, but I feel the need to vent this out a bit, so bear with me. :jk:

Cartoon Network is just blatantly advertising for another 'awesome' (nothing can be as awesome as BFAHP! :bloosmirk: ) game for the the TDA show that just came out on the page where the Big Fat Awesome House Party Game was.. It just annoys me that CN acts like it doesn't care for the Foster's fanbase and tries to 'console' us with TDA games. :terrence:

If it feels like I'm overreacting, I probably am, and I apologize for that. However, I just can't stand the fact that everything Foster's is slowly going away! (except the epic fanbase that is you guys ;))

Creamy 06-27-2009 06:10 AM

Goodbye Creamy :'(

happy80schild 06-27-2009 07:03 AM

I stopped playing this fall but I went back on a couple times the week before they shut it down I just wish they made an announcement before they just did it.

Nononononononono they said every party has to end EVENTUALLY. This probably means they must have ended it every year until the next year. :)

How do you know, as in, where does it tell you it's stopped forever? (apart from the actual big fat awesome house party website?)

antgirl1 07-05-2009 10:55 AM

Uh...no. It was continuous through those years. When it ended, it's gone. It's not coming back. :(

The following is stated in Wikipedia:
Due to a recent update, you can no longer play the game. It states "Every Party Has To End Eventually."

I enjoyed the game for more than two years, something I had never done. When I read it had finished, I was surprised, and started remembering my good times with Rolly. :'(

Wikipedia isn't exactly known for it's accuracy on Foster's-related topics but in this case it's true. Game over.

it's hot in topeka 07-09-2009 09:43 AM

I had one but someone stole my account anyway it was a nice game :)

PeterFoster111 07-11-2009 01:15 AM

Actully, I found evidence. The ending was actully supposed to be in October. READ THE ARTICLE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Fat...ty#Fifth_floor

Cassini90125 07-11-2009 01:23 AM

As I said before:

Well, Foster's home for imaginary friends is about to come to an END. Good bye fosters and my former character/imaginary friend in my BFAHP "Jirob". :macwor::cry2:

Too bad, i did not make some screenshots in BFAHP. :macwor:

Lizard 04-01-2010 11:56 PM

Wow. I really wish I went on there when I could. I didn't do that many chores.

carlito_cool 08-10-2010 12:14 PM

I had been playing this BFAHP game last 2007 and it was really a cool game. I wish this game would be back in CN but unfortunately this game was ended. is just because the fosters home for imaginary friends is over at the US.

:wiltshock: :wiltshock: :wiltshock:

BlooCheese92 08-21-2010 02:15 AM

I never really had the time to play it, but I'm sad that BFAHP has ended! :( I made an ice cream imaginary friend called Cornetto, lol.I wish BFAHP would be resurrected but I doubt that would ever happen ...

I really wish this BFAHP game resurrects. Hehehe!
That would be Cool! :)

Lucky 09-05-2010 07:24 AM

I loved that game. I really wish it could come back (or better: become a Nintendo DS game!)

Green Blockhead 09-09-2010 09:39 AM

I actully think for games like this, people could try to revive it.

The same fate happened for The Sims Online, read here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sims_Online

Scroll down to Revival.

Big Fat Awesome House Party was awesome, as the title states. I always did errands for Frankie, thinking she would raise her liking in Green Lamp, who is my character.

I also thought that the main regognizable characters, apart from the made up ones for the game, could follow you around.

But, if you play fusion fall, you always have a mini version of the game :)

Or, maybe if someone has the ability to make flash games, make that.

I agree with you. they shouldhad made this into Nitendo DS b4 they ended that game.

That would have been cool for us.

Lucky 09-11-2010 08:31 PM

Ih has similar gameplay to Animal Crossing, with one character (you) interacting with everyone else and doint them favors (ect), and special events on certain days (ex, birthdays)

Madison 11-27-2010 06:44 AM

I know its kind of "official", but there are rumors that BFAHP will be brought back in December 2010. Especially, http://www.fanpop.com/spots/fosters-...me-house-party
It doesn't seem legitimate to me though... :'(

But some of our friends have started an FB page to bring back BFAHP...It's only got around 200 members but we hope to make it high....
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Big-Fa...0800906&v=wall

If a lot of people join, I think we can contact Cartoon network and tell them what asses they are

DO you think that will help bring BFAHP back?

P.S. Sorry for the long post, but I terribly miss Bloo's adventures... :macwor:

KazooBloo 11-29-2016 10:55 PM

So many memories with this game. Even years later, it still hurts.

Nitwit 07-16-2017 08:25 PM

I used to have an account on that game and from what memories I have of it? It was a fun game. There were places I've been too and places I hadn't been too. I remember getting into Mac's home and there was a cathouse in the living room. As I saw that I thought to myself? "Did Mac's mom ever had a pet cat before?" As I rewatch the first movie of the series I notice that now. lol

Pretty weird?

KazooBloo 07-20-2017 03:05 PM

I always remembered going to the pool in the backyard and there'd always be people there.

Nitwit 02-26-2018 08:17 PM

Late in my end. But a YouTuber who goes by the name vailskibum94 has made a video on the game itself and has over 70,000 viewers as of this writing.

https://youtu.be/uCvTU8KIZlY

Here's a link to the video.

KazooBloo 02-27-2018 10:35 PM

Thanks for the nostalgia trip, mate.

Nitwit 03-09-2018 12:09 AM

No problem.

KazooBloo 03-14-2018 06:24 PM

You still update your YT?

carlito_cool 02-06-2020 02:12 AM

Never forget this awesome loading screen. God I missed this game.

Strawrat 02-12-2020 05:45 PM

Do you happen to still have an old computer where you played BFAHP? If so, some of its files may be stored in your browser's cache.

I made a thread about recovering the game this way, if you're interested: http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4737
