The Spoiler. A Batman verse hero.

And may post more later. ^_^

Nice job with each of these HWH! I of course recognized Rabbit and Hades right away, being an avid Disney fan. And I like the OC you created for a friend, she looks like a character I could relate to. And The Spoiler reminds me of Raven from Teen Titans. Well done! :)

Cassini90125 02-21-2009 06:19 PM

I'm liking Doc Emily and the OC best. Excellent job on all!

Mac-a-lacka 02-21-2009 08:57 PM

Cool pics! :)

The Spoiler was a character they killed off, THEN brought back! They keep breaking my heart with the drama!

Haha, thanks. I love Rabbit! And Hades too...Glad to see a advid D*sney fan reconize them instantly. ^_^

The Character was named Carmella Testarosa, if I recall. (May have did the spelling wrong) My chum needed some characters for some fic they were writing, so this came out. She is a psychology student, and a very shy one. I wanted to play down the personality in the design. But the socks help to show there is more to her then meets the eyes.

Thanks! Man, if I wasn't so lazy, I would have wrote my Hyde story by now! Why am I sooooo lazy?

Thank you all! It was fun showing off my stuff.

http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/pi...&pictureid=379 And my finished Dr. Hyde pic!

jekylljuice 02-22-2009 03:29 AM

All of this is very excellent, HWH. I'm particularly intrigued by this Dr. Emily Hyde - does she have anything to do with the literary awesomeness of Robert Louis Stevenson?

Hahaha! I think my nerdiness is showing. Yes, I happen to be a big fan of The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! I recall wanting her to have either D.I.D or schizophrenia, so somehow Edward Hyde came to mind. Originally she was created to be my own character for the Kim Possible world (which is why I still draw her in the show's style)...but I started to get too attached. Now I want to create an original tale/novel for Hyde! (I have a ton of notes on what I plan to do with her...

So yes, thank you. ^_^

Awesome! The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is my all-time favourite novel (hence my username). So I approve of your love for it. ;D

You know what? ...I'm actually surprised the novel isn't on my high school reading list. But then again....they've been taking off most of the books that have been turned into movies/plays/etc. However, if they keep this up, there may not even be a list.

MORE SECRET INFO ON EMILY HYDE:
*The hair is based off of Mirage from The Incredibles.
*Her red eyes are from Hannibal Lecter's. (The novels)
* Went with a darker skin tone, because I was tired of seeing pale skinned villians. Also thought it would give her that exotic look that was mentioned as "extraordinary looking...yet I really can name nothing out of the way". She isn't dislikable, but she is "insane". Living with a different sort of morality codes. Evil isn't the word I'm looking for...Let's just say that love and plight can do strange things to a person.

And here is what I have of Rabbit so far....but I'm having background idea trouble! Gah!!! Your opinions?

Lynnie 02-23-2009 12:33 PM

I personally think the background looks fine as it is, it looks like granite or a similar stone. Is he in his hole? I'd say that works. :) You could color the counter top anything you'd like though.

Hehe, I saw the paper on the counter and read "ADD stuff", as in "Attention Deficit Disorder", lol! Ah, I see what it means now. ;)

SNAP! I wish I saw this before I went on...sorry Lynnie. Maybe I can try to find a tutorial that shows how to make the granite look in MS Paint?

Location? ...I have no clue. XD I was just in the mood to draw Rabbit. Oh! And I plan on adding a hinto of Tigger's tail in there.

Haha! You're so silly! Actually...I wish I thought of it. But no, I'm going down a slightly more innocent route of thinking.

EDIT:

Should I leave it as it is?

Government Man 03-15-2009 04:58 PM

Been away for awhile, so I didn't see this before. Nice work, HWH, especially the Alice in Wonderland a la Vasquez! The final version looks just fine.

Those are all great, HWH! I'm not the biggest Flapjack fan, but I do enjoy it at times. Flapjack's character is real cute, and I love Bubbie. Haha, I loved the randomness of Bubbie's "Dear Thingy". "Ghosts live in my shoes." 8D

Cassini90125 04-10-2009 05:13 PM

Nicely done, as usual. I particularly liked #4. ;D

Thanks guys! (I think I like the show, because of the awkward humor. And the characters are just hilarious...Though Candy Wife somewhat confuses/frightens me... But over all, better than most of the stuff CN is making these days. )

*face palms* There is something seriously wrong with me. Making the "Dear Thingy" series is just too much fun. The whole point of them is to be very random, and they're mostly to make myself smile. (filled with references that only a few/nobody gets) But I like knowing that other people enjoy them too.

Ah, I see. Thank you. I'll have to correct that whenever I get the chance to. ^_^

EDIT:

I'm actually Not sure if I'm allowed to post this. But an artist and I started coming up with what Batman Villain each Winnie the Pooh character would be. My first thought was that Rabbit would be Poison Ivy. I came up with this: http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/pi...&pictureid=429

Here is the other artist's version: http://trumpeteer34.deviantart.com/art/Poison-Rabbit-119935926
