Foster's Home

I guess this can be a discussion thread for the Foster's area of the game, but for now I just wanted to share some images from the Foster's area with non-players (or people who haven't been able to make it all the way out there yet). Click the links, as displaying the images will suck bandwidth:

Exterior

Foster's Sign

Frankie

Eduardo

I can't go inside yet; considering the monsters in the area are about 5 levels higher than me I'm sure I'm not up to going in yet anyways! ;)

antgirl1 12-07-2008 06:14 PM

Awesome screengrabs Sparky. Once I can make heads and tails of this game, (When I can figure out how this "file cache" and "Temperary Internet Files" works, I've no luck yet on those) I'll be sure to get strong enough to go there someday.

Lynnie 12-07-2008 08:34 PM

So cool seeing a 3D version of the house. Frankie sure looks different, too. Almost makes me want to sign up so I can see it for myself. Thank you for sharing, Sparky! :)

Mac-a-lacka 12-08-2008 12:22 PM

Neat grabs you got there! :)

Sparky 12-14-2008 12:30 PM

Here's some more Foster's characters.

Mr Herriman is behind the house, I didn't see him the first time. The first screenie I took of him had him talking about Mac and Coco going out into the wilderness - but I like this one better.

I later did find Mac and Coco in the aforermentioned wilderness, I think it was the Mount Blackhead area.

Bloo turned up in the City Point area. He had nothing to say to me. :bloosad:

And as antgirl pointed out earlier, Wilt is in the Cul-de-Sac.

antgirl1 12-14-2008 03:17 PM

So he DID have missions!! Oh wait, nevermind...at least he has to do with SOMETHING. Aww, I wish I could play again...but I can't go anywhere, because it lags far too muchj to my computer's liking no matter WHAT I do for the game, plus when it officially releases I don't think I'll even attempt unless they tweak the free version for the better...

Wait...Fusion Wilt? I thought I already killed him when I got the Wilt Nano....I am confused. Was there more than one fusion Wilt? Or does Fuse just create more...? Uh....

One Radical Dude 12-14-2008 03:58 PM

No, you don't get another Fusion Wilt. It's simply another mission battling any fusion character. I finally can do Nano missions again, after emailing them about my issue. I'm at Level 13 (just got Fusion Him), finally met Bloo. He spoke to me.

Sparky 12-14-2008 04:22 PM

I love how even with your setback you're STILL further along than me, lol.

Yes you can battle the same Fusion characters multiple times, I have. They just come back I guess.

And various NPCs will only give you missions at certain times, like after you've finished specific other missions maybe. So while Wilt doesn't have missions for you at first, he will later on.

One Radical Dude 12-14-2008 04:29 PM

I'm sorry. 8D

What I did was complete every other mission I could find (even those Lv. 6s or 7s), since doing the Nano mission was impossible for me at the time. I likely won't hit 14 anytime soon, though. I need over 30,000 in Fusion Matter for the next one. I'm at 5,300+ right now. Anyway, have fun!

As there is no Cheese nano listed yet (and the wikia list currently goes up to nearly level 40) I was rather thinking that Cheese must not be anywhere in the game. I may have been wrong.

I normally play the game on my desktop computer which already had Unity Web Player on it when I installed FusionFall so I was never prompted by the game to download it. But today I decided to install FF on my laptop, which did not have Unity, so I did get the prompt. And on that screen, to the side, was:

http://www.fosters-home.com/fusionfa...nitycheese.jpg

Now I'm thinking he's got like the level 50 nano or something, lol.

Lynnie 01-01-2009 06:15 PM

Oh my, isn't that an ugly character if ever there was one. 8D He looks kind of creepy. Look at his hands! Wow, I never would have thought we would have seen a 3Dish Cheese.

Cassini90125 01-01-2009 07:25 PM

I can't help but think of the aliens in Close Encounters here, just yellow and retarded.

My stars, he looks so brainless. 8D

antgirl1 01-21-2009 05:16 PM

I'm not sure if it's on topic, but I found this amusing.

I went onto the Glossary of the Help portion of the FF site, and the first on there was "Imaginary Friend", and it was defined as this:

Subzeroace 01-21-2009 07:41 PM

Fuse's weakness is "Imaginary Energy"? Lets just send some creative kids to go where ever he is and do some thinking?

Or you know... Go back in time, grab mini!Frankie and get her to scribble it up =D

Edit: Just realized this kinda sound like evil plot to harness Pokemon energy when they evolve in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum

Ah, this confirms my long standing suspicion that the power to create imaginary friends is kind of like "The Force" from the Star Wars series. 8D

I really think this is leading somewhere...

Lol "Super"?? They couldn't have him say "Awesome!" or something like that, something that he's actually said before? No....have him say "super" instead! 8D

Woo, imaginary friends with powers, even from those who aren't meant to? AMAZING! :D

LOL, you need to come down the Low Country for a few days; "super", or shall I say, "supah", is still a very popular phrase there. When I read this conversation, I immediately thought of a popular character created by one of the old-school Beach Music dj's who was on the "Beach, Boogie and Blues" station out of LA(Lower Awendaw, a community outside of Charleston), known as "Beach Billy", who always said, "Su-PAH!" and sounded like Wilt, without the "I'm sorry's".

HerrimanWasHere 02-02-2009 12:50 PM

*spasms* Mr. Herriman actually looks okay! (Frankie and Mac...meh) I might even start playing some more to go meet him! (I just find the idea of transforming the characters into a very plain looking anime style as irritating.)
But yeah! I may try so I can talk to Mr. H!

The Wilt design somewhat scares me...

Imagination destroys the fusion energy? Lol. Then send in the children and artist! That should stop them.

Sparky 02-03-2009 08:27 PM

Yeah, I think this is leading somewhere.

http://www.fosters-home.com/fusionfa...magination.jpg

The first part could be important. The second part just made me lol.

antgirl1 02-04-2009 02:56 PM

Billy having more imagination? THAN GOO? He doesn't even have a brain! 8D

Sparky 02-04-2009 03:09 PM

I'm guessing that the reason Goo isn't in the game is that her very presence would destroy Fuse, thus ruining everyone's fun. :gooblab:

Cassini90125 02-04-2009 03:26 PM

Not unlike what happens when she's on the show. :P

Isn't Cheese in the game though? :cheese:

antgirl1 02-04-2009 03:35 PM

Yeah well Cheese is imaginary himself, so he couldn't even if he tried...8D

Plus in that image you see a lot when you get into the game, I think there's a Fusion Cheese somewhere.

But seriously. Billy's got no brain.

Sparky 02-04-2009 05:23 PM

As far as I've heard, Cheese is nowhere in the game. But I expect there will be expansions, with more characters, areas, and levels (therefore nanos) added.

Today I bring you:

http://www.fosters-home.com/fusionfa...fusioncoco.jpg

I didn't cap it, but several levels ago there was an incident where it appeared that Fusion Eduardo was trying to get us a message helping us learn how to beat Fuse. I don't know if the Fusion Foster's characters are really helping or if its a trick, but the Foster's characters are the only ones this has happened with so far...
