Rockos Modern life/Ren And Stimpy
 

I just started rewatching these series again on the internet and realised what makes these so great back then, the humor and everything is just top notch, i love it!!

Please tell me im not the only one who loves rocko and ren and stimpy.

They need to release these on DVD or something because these were the best shows on nick.

Never saw Rocko; R&S I caught occasionally. Some episodes were pretty good, some weren't. Can't really say much beyond that.

I know that in ren and stimpy there was a episode called: mans best friend which was quickly banned by nick.

Im in the search for that also?

That'd be kinda cool if fosters had atleast one reference to either of these shows i would get up and salute craig, since fosters references other stuff.

Yes, I agree, would be awesome if fosters made a refrence or of course itd be SO SWEET if ren or stimpy came as an IF

Ren & stimpy was alright despite the following seasons after the first two but Rocko's Modern Life managed to stay fresh throughout the whole series.

And besides, Rocko was always such a cutie! :)

R&S was okay, but i never really saw it much. but i love rocko's modern life. i dont feel the need to say more than wacky delly. also awsome theme is awsome.

I don't think I'd go that far; your idea sounds more like you'd want a crossover (which I'm not too fond of). Am I wrong? Just expressing my view.

R&S was okay (or some of it, anyway); I absolutely disliked APC, though. I also can't stand John Kricfalusi (nothing personal to those that like him). Rocko was also okay. I think Heffer Wolfe was the first character I recognize Tom Kenny doing.

I don't remember ever watching Rocko, but I watched a few episodes of Ren and Stimpy. Personally, they weren't my taste. But I do remember, and always will, the phrase "Happy happy, joy joy!" And even now, years later, even though I never really watched it, I still say that when I'm happy about something. ;D

Rocko's Modern Life was a good one - easily one of the best cartoons they ever broadcast on Nickelodeon, I always enjoyed it. Never really got into Ren and Stimpy though. I could watch it in small doses every now and then, back when Nickeldeon was my favourite channel, and though there were bits and pieces which would make me chuckle, there was just something about the show as a whole which I ultimately found unappealling - I never cared much for the animation style, and though the two titular characters could be entertaining, I seldom found either of them to be all that likeable. It goes to show how much attention I paid at the time that it took me a couple of years to even realise that Ren was a dog (more specifically, a chihuahua) - previously, I'd always assumed that he was some kind of bizarro rat/rabbit hybrid.

Ren & Stimpy was ok, but Rocko is awesome. It's my third favorite Nick show (behind Zim & Angry Beavers). It used to be 4 but Spongebob jumped the shark as soon as the old writers left for Lazlo.

I was never a big fan of Rocko but I loved Ren & Stimpy. I'd watch it whenever I could, and laughed endlessly. The History Eraser Button skit is one of my faves.:D

Looking back at those shows, I think that, of the two nicktoons that I used to watch, my favorite would have to be Rocko, simply because the humor was better, as well as some episodes.

Ren and Stimpy, on the other hand, just doesn't appeal to me that much, but that's just me.

I loved both of these shows back in the day even though I was oblivious to the adult jokes back then.

There are DVD sets for Ren and Stimpy, but alas...not for ol' Rocko.

R&S was a bit gross for me, but it's one of my favorites growing up. Happy Happy Joy Joy is one of the funniest parts of any 90's cartoon ever.
