The Violence Inherent In Pong

Click

Had no idea, did you? 8D

I have to salute anyone who goes to that much trouble to bring humor to PONG. I freaking love the dog!

edit: Sorry, this does contain a couple profanities. Oh, and digital violence. So, yeah, there's a warning.

Cassini90125 05-05-2008 08:14 PM

Wow, the last time I played pong was in high school in the early '90s. I haven't seen this game in years.

bloonuggets 05-05-2008 10:19 PM

Should be NSFW with the mild profanity.

Pft for like two seconds and it was in text and not spoken aloud, hardly anything to call the FCC over.

And besides we're all ages 13 and up here. (right?) and almost everyone knows that every PG-13 movie can have some mild profanity in it, if the writer/director chooses to do so.

(These were just my opinions, and are not meant to disrespect anyone else's opinions on the subject.)

Um...yeah but I (meaning, this forum) have a policy to post a warning if a link leads to something with profanity in it.

Look, I'm sorry. I'll rewatch the thing as soon as I get a minute and edit my first post to contain an appropriate warning. I've just been really busy all evening.

Subzeroace 05-06-2008 09:59 PM

Haha great video, the dog is pretty cute... Someone should make a game of this, especially the pong road rage bit XD

frankie_fan 05-06-2008 10:10 PM

That was the best thing ever! Thanks for sharing or I would have totally missed it. The best bit was the edge of universe which really got me thinking. When was Pong written? 70s? That's when I first played it. My late Grandad had it which is kind of strange really that my first experience of a computer game was courtesy of man born before television was invented.

Anyway, since then that universe has expanded in size and complexity and has led us no further than the carnage of GTA4. There should be a bit of that where you reach the edge of the universe and forget all the violence.
