Which Candidate Would You Vote For? (Possibly image-heavy)

megatron. that or cobra commander. ;D
|
Wow it's great to see Cobra Commander again (had it been The Baroness then definitatly)and Skeletor too in his glory days before he met Todd Rundgren and ended up all limp-wristed. General ...was it Zod (?) would be no good because he'd be too afraid of tumbling mirrors. He has his own fansite, you know.
So really that leaves us with the only realistic candidate as Mojo. I'd love to hear his acceptance speech. |
|
Personally, I'm in favor of Bison, but his campaign advertisement has some strong language, and thus might be against board rules.
|
now that i think of it, i'd vote for starscream. Hooray decipticons
|
As not a single one of the candidates noted here is likely to be in line with my positions on the major issues facing us today, or even be aware of what they are, I'll have to go with "none of the above". :P
|
I'll put you down for M. Bison, too.
|
I almost screamed "SKELETOR!!!!one!!" but come to think of it I don't think he'd make a good president. I mean yeah he's got a nice house and a cute kitty-cat, but I dunno, he's such a whiner.
I'd vote for Mer-Man, though. |
Cobra Commander
not afraid to take care of buisness |
Count me in as part of the "undecided" crowd! :P:cheesegrin:

That may strike you as being somewhat shallow reasoning, as well as a horrible abuse of suffrage, but really, it blew my mind when recently I caught a couple of He-Man episodes for the first time in ages and realised just how amazingly macho that big old bag of bones really was. He's at least got the image nailed down to a tee. Now, if we could just do something about those eerie empty eye sockets... Actually, can that. I want the Scotch Video skeleton for president (or at least prime minister). No reason why he should be made to die out just because VHS has: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AL4obo3oFxc |

That's the sad thing, in the last series of He-Man I ever saw, Skeletor had gone a bit camp like a 60s Batman villain. Btw have you heard the M&W sketch where Adam goes to the doctor because of a back-strain he's aquired lifting He-Man's Sword to become He-Man? Obviously as He-Man the sword isn't any problem but Adam is of course a regular man not a He-Man. As regards the Scotch Tape fella, there's an exhibit in the Australian National museum in Sydney very much inspired by that ad. |

That's too bad about Skeletor, but then again I wouldn't exactly deem He-Man the most camp-free cartoon I've ever seen, even in the earliest days. In fact, when I recently caught it again, I wasn't sure whether to react with endearment or disgust at just how overwhelming corny the dialogue and execution all were. What finally charmed me over to the former reaction was how much time Skelly and his sidekicks seemed to spend holding hands with one another, at least in one or two of the episodes I saw. There was clearly a lot of closeness amongst those evildoers. |
As far as villains go, I'll vote for good (bad) ol' Megs. The whole "peace through tyranny" angle is something he's never wavered from. Plus the bot keeps some very stylish company in the form of Soundwave and Shockwave.:D

I'd vote for BOWSER! :D
|
Oh I'm glad that Bowser got a vote. I'd hate there to be an element of anti-Reptilian slant on the results. I'd really thought he'd do well though I only know him from Mariocart where he was no more evil than Donkey Kong.
It's the big vote that's got America and the world talking. |
I am not too wild about any of the choices.
So here are some write in candidates. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3..._optimized.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...a/ff6kefka.jpg |
|
I would have voted Bowser, but I have a write in candidate:

But yeah, this gentleman would get my vote. |
I'd be a little hesitant to vote for Kefka. Would he really have our best interests in mind? We all remember what he did last time he got control of the world.8D
|
Honestly, I assumed this would be a choice between the serious Presidential Candidates, but this isn't that far from who's to choose from in reality, so yeah.
I think I'll be undecided, given the choices available. If I had to choose, however, I'd go with Ralph Wiggum or Bowser, just because I like them the most. |

Yeah, good ol' Bill and Opus. I miss that strip. :) |
Guess what? We've got another candidate throwing her hat into the ring!
http://www.showbuzz.cbsnews.com/imag...age2532102.jpg Not the dog, it's Hannah Montana! Seriously though, there's a site listed stating she'll be a candidate. I'm not sure it it's real or not (probably not), but always keep the options open. This reminds me of that time Stephen Colbert was running as a presidential candidate... (Here's the site, if you're curious: www.montana2008.com) |
Odds are the dog would do a better job. 8D
|
O_O You'd better be joking, DD.
That's the LAST thing we need to run anything. :P |

While I like Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus, I don't think she'd be very qualified to be Leader of the Free World. Leader of the Free World of Pop Music, maybe (for the time being), but not President of the United States. I put this as a tribute to all the um...varied presiential candidates available to choose from in 2008. |
You know, as I recall there's this rabbit that has some presidential experience... :herriman:
|

That guy has been looking to take over the world ever since his Achy Breaky Heart days. :P |
...Dont you have to be 35 to run? Her chances of winning are alreadly over before it begins.
and Im still voting for starscream. |

Also, some guy you don't know, a candidate does need to be at least 35 to qualify, which is one of the many reasons I believe this is a joke. I wouldn't take this too seriously (like anyone really is here). Also, I'd still take Ralph Wiggum or Bowser over Miss Montana in any matter. |
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...sunlight-1.jpg
I find myself in mild agreement that Kefka could be appropriate. ...but Zeed deserves it more! Look at how his size changes between frames! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ots/zeed02.png http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ots/zeed07.png |
Megatron's mass-shifting could give him a run for his money. I mean, a 40 foot robot turning into a human-sized Luger?8D
|
I'd rather have these canidates:
President- http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...y/deadpool.jpg Vice President- http://www.bamkapow.com/ul/156-VenomSBHImage.jpg or President- http://www.sfgate.com/blogs/images/s...ief498x351.jpg Vice President- http://www.clarkson.edu/projects/itl...ms/arbiter.jpg Though I wouldn't mind Megatron or Ock. |
C'mon now, who wouldn't vote for Megs after a photo shoot like this?8D
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...llhailmegs.jpg All hail Megatron indeed. |
Aw, I'd not... That's a blasted awesome picture, but Optimus Prime is my homeboy!
I'd vote Bowser... because the White House just NEEDS to have flaming everything and a moat of lava, don't you think? Not to mention, if he had a problem with another country, he could just crappily kidnap their princess 8D |
You are definitely making me consider saying to Bowsers party.8D
