Mom Tells Kid, "No More World of Warcraft"

Try to imagine being part of the raiding party when THIS comes streaming over the speakers.

Partymember 12-03-2007 11:43 AM

lol

make love not Warcraft

BabyCharmander 12-03-2007 12:29 PM

I've seen that before. XD Honestly that kid deserved to get grounded from the game. He sounded like a real brat. (I wanna trade dads with him. >> His dad sounded reasonable. Had that been MY dad, he would have yanked the computer out of the wall and chucked it in the trash.)

Haha, I love it when the kid yells so loud his words are unintelligible, so the subtitles or whatever just say "SDL:FJS:LFJKL:SDL:JKL:SDFJKL#&SFDDSFHSDFL!!!! "

Imaginary Light 12-03-2007 12:33 PM

Whoa. That is one whiny kid.

One Radical Dude 12-03-2007 01:11 PM

Oh, brother. That dude was a total brat. 8D:cheesegrin:

Cassini90125 12-03-2007 02:26 PM

Oh, man, that was a good one. 8D

Nyo 12-03-2007 02:42 PM

ARARJFDS54J$!!!

8D Hysterical.

TB 12-03-2007 02:49 PM

I've seen this before and honestly it's scary. That's when he needs to have his computer taken away for a good long time. Okay..maybe I'm a horrible person for laughing a little bit..

You should check out the Ventrillo pranks though. People overreact so bad to those. 8D

Bloonan 12-03-2007 03:20 PM

Actually, I can relate. Video games have gone with me for similar moments, just not that serious and garbled junk ness. But it's still funny. 8D

WiltFan 12-03-2007 03:38 PM

That was so great. XD
I mean....woooow...lol

Shelltoon 12-03-2007 05:24 PM

For some reason, this reminds me of the "Don't taze me bro!" guy. :bloogrin:8D:cheesegrin:

Ridureyu 12-04-2007 01:38 AM

STOP MANHANDLING ME!!!!!!!!

But yeah... imagine if you were part of this guild, and THAT suddenly began broadcasting. One of the nice little proofs that it isn't staged is how it cuts in during the conversation. Obviously, the kid had begun whining, and one of the players quickly started recording.

Medikor 12-04-2007 06:08 AM

That just made my day!8D It's great to see (or in this case "hear") some parents who actually know how to do some parenting these days.

Ridureyu 12-12-2007 03:08 PM

I fee sorry for those parents, really. Of course, I also wonder how long the argument had been going on before someone hit "record."

Invader Bloo 12-12-2007 04:51 PM

What a whiny baby. How can you get addicted to a game that much?
A gay game at that. :nyah:

Cassini90125 12-12-2007 05:17 PM

Beats me. I've never understood videogame addiction, not at all. (Looks at watch). I'll be back later; I gotta go see my Sims.

WoW is quite a happy game. %D I enjoy it muchly. I don't normally play it for too long, though, but that's because I can't afford it. I buy it a month at a time when I have the time to play it. (Which is why I'm going to resubscribe as soon as I finish my last class this semester. %3)

If you have a lot of money though and can afford to continuously subscribe to the game, do NOT play it, as it will eat your sooooul. oo;

Medikor 12-14-2007 01:59 PM

I'm sure the game is great but I'm just not the kind of person who can play a MMORPG. I'm not willing to pay the monthly fee's and I just can't dedicate myself to continually building my characters up. I prefer more traditional RPG's that focus more on a grand and epically emotional story.

Sparky 12-14-2007 03:05 PM

I don't play because I have no sense of strategy. I'd come off as very stupid on there, I think. I like straight role play, not so much "gaming" itself.

Ridureyu 12-14-2007 05:27 PM

Monthly fees are not condusive to huge chunks of the year in which I would not be able to play (Grad school).

Heh, I suck at strategy, too. %B I just get whatever armor has lots of numbers on it. XP It's still fun, though.

The longest I can play is maybe 5 hours.

Cassini90125 12-15-2007 07:13 AM

My personal best is nine hours. Didn't even stop for dinner; I had a grinder that I'd picked up earlier in the day. Definitely fun but my eyes felt a little stressed toward the end.

Nyo 12-15-2007 08:29 AM

I played Sims 1 for almost half a Saturday (9:00 am to 7:00 pm) around a year ago.

But that's off-topic. WoW...seems very addictive in a bad way. >>

CrazyPhil 01-31-2008 04:55 PM

Wow, that was great, but I honestly can't understand either how someone could get THAT addicted to any game. Video games have always been a major part of my life, all the way back to Super Mario World on SNES. (Which I still have.) And I still play almost on a daily basis, only now I play on Xbox 360 mostly, and I do often get really wrapped up in it and spend hours yelling over Xbox Live and having fun, but if my mom or dad are trying to sleep late at night or need me for something, I always stop or turn down the volume. Yes, I do argue with them every now and then about it, but I NEVER yell or whine like that kid did. (I don't even think I did that when I was younger). I don't have a WoW subscription and I'm not really interested in one, but it's a mystery to me how anyone could get that obsessed with any game, and this is coming from a hardcore gamer. (Of course, he's not the only one. In fact, I've heard that several people have died from playing WoW too much.)

Nyo 02-01-2008 10:40 AM

A higher quality version.

Still funny as anything 8D

Cassini90125 02-01-2008 12:09 PM

Y'all ever wonder what that kid and his family are doing these days? Aside from attending group therapy, I mean.

Probably making sure there aren't any mics on before they start arguing.;)

antgirl1 02-01-2008 03:10 PM

Not as bad as the Angry German Kid. 8D

Ridureyu 02-09-2008 01:26 AM

Yeah, but Angry German Kid was staged. The kid does lots of little skits like that, and he's even said so.
