What Game system do you have/Want?
 

I got my 360 today, won't be able to open it until Christmas though.

So how about everyone else?

ive been wondering about this for a while. i'd prefer a ps3, but only if it has backwards compatability. otherwise its the wii.

I currently own:
Atari 2600
Sega Dreamcast
Microsoft Xbox 360
Nintendo Wii
Nintendo DS Lite

I would like:
Magnavox Odyssey
Sony Playstation 3 (As long as it was backwards compatible)

I have, uh... Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, and Playstation 2. %D;

I have no plans to get an Xbox 360 or a PS3. (Although there are like... three games I'd like for the Xbox 360. >>)

I'm still on PS2 and PSP/DS D=

I want a 360 or a PS3, but I won't be getting one anytime soon... Their both still in the "too much for a X-Mas present" category.

I'm not interested in a Wii, the only game I'd end up buying would be SSB: Brawl. I had a NGC back in the day and I only had two games for it (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and SSB: Melee) and when I sold it back to EB Games I got more credit for SA2:B then the console it's self ._.

I'm not really much of a Nintendo fan other then Pokemon >>

So I'm gonna say a 360 would be my choice console atm, I really want to try out Bioshock! Plus LOST, Heroes and Brütal Legend when they come out, but their on PS3 as well XD

Off-topic: Do not buy the PC version of Bioshock; it contains SecuROM. :frankiemad:

Anyway, for the newest generation of consoles, I'm a Wii fan all the way. I got an NES on the first Christmas of it's release and have been a loyal Nintendo fan all my life. I have gotten some other consoles outside of Nintendo, though. The PlayStation 1 and Sega Genesis were great systems. But my #1 console of all time will always be the SNES.
In general I'm amazed at how far video games have come over the years. I can't remember the last time that any generation of consoles have received so much media attention. While it is nice to be able to talk about games without being called a nerd or geek, the mainstream status that video games have gotten in the entertainment genre has its downsides.

I'm not interested in any of the new ones (the only newer system I wanted was the DS and I got that already). I still want a Gamecube though. And I'd like to pick up another Atari 2600 sometime.

If you wanna' play GameCube then you might as well get a Wii, since it can play GameCube games. (Unless you're sure you don't want any Wii games and just want to pick up an old GameCube for cheap, which I could understand.) I haven't tried it myself, though, since I haven't been playing many of my GameCube games lately. (...And actually, I haven't been playing my Wii games much, either, but I have been having fun with the different Wii channels. %D)

I so want a Wii for Christmas! It is all I have been thinking about over the course of a few weeks or so. I really hope I get it!

Oh. Actually the only reason I wanted the GC was because I heard you could play your GBA hooked up to it so the game was on the TV...is that even true? And if so, will the Wii do that too?

Not sure about the Wii, but I'm going to guess no. But for the gamecube, yea you can totally hook up your GBA games to play on the TV.

I have a Wii. I guess a playstation 3 would be cool. I don't really need it though. I wouldn't refuse one if one was given to me though.

Well, there's a special thing that you buy that hooks to the bottom of the GameCube that you can put gameboy games in so you can play them on the TV, but it doesn't come with the GameCube, IIRC. I had to buy it separate, but then again, I got my GameCube when the thing first came out...

I have a PS2, GBA & PS1. On & after Christmas I'll rarely the PS2 except to play SW:BFII. I haven't used the PS1 & GBA in forever. I can't wait until I get my 360 & play Halo 3!

Why don't you sell the PS1? PS2s are backwards compatible, last I checked. Unless you're keeping it because you can't bear to part with it? XD That's how I am with my old Gameboys. :P

I forgot to mention all the consoles I had, I still have a Sega Genesis (my first one *nuzzle*), Sega GameGear, Playstation (the original model), Playstation 2(original + HDD and Network Adapter), PSP (original) and DS (original).

I've had a N64 ( NINTENDO SIXTY FOOOOUR! it was one of those clear crystal blue ones) a black Gamecube, an original Gameboy, a Gameboy colour and a Gameboy Advanced SP.

My fav of them is the PS2, I would have said PSX but the PS2 can play all it's games anyway XD

Sadly I sold my copy of FFXII, they go for alot now ._.

eh, i have a ps2 (the skinny one,) ds (same as the ps2) and a gameboy advance SP. used to have a gameboy (i think it was purple) and a genesis. also im pretty sure i got over 95% of my games came from a buy-sell-trade place, or christmas.

I have my trusty PS3 named Mr. Fabulous. I won him from MTV's Spider-Man 3 contest.
I had a PS2, but I gave it to my GF.

You can call me a Sony fanboy of sorts.

Wants:
A Wii, based soley on Mario Galaxies.
A DS for a lot of reasons.
360, because Halo 3 looks like fun.

I have an xbox360 and a PS3.

Games i currently have are: Call Of duty 4 modern warfare which is wickedly awesome!!, Halo 3, The Darkness And Assassins creed.

I just want a PS3 for Blu-ray & Drake's Fortune maybe in a year or two.

I played Drake's Fortune demo and all I can say is that I need some serious cash to get it. Totally worth it.

Yeah, I play games alot, but I'm not really interested in getting a PS3 right now, not until the price gets dropped.

I have a PC (if it counts! :bloogrin:), a Super Nintendo and a Nintendo 64. I used to have a Sega Master System II, but I saw it at a gaming store, so hopefully I'll be able to own it.

My brother has an Xbox 360, but I want a Wii. Why? Super Smash Bros Brawl! Nuff said! 8D
