8D Pumpkins taste funny! I love it; superb job!

Cassini90125 10-30-2007 11:55 PM

That has got to be the scariest thing I've seen this Halloween. Excellent work!

Pawbah 10-31-2007 01:58 AM

That is so awesome! Good job!
:P I have a hard enough time carving a regular face in mine.

BluebottleFlyer 10-31-2007 03:42 AM

Seen it already on DA, it's brilliant, Sparky.:D

TB 10-31-2007 05:06 AM

Beautiful, simply beautiful. 8D I love it!

Zeitgheist 10-31-2007 05:12 AM

That's INCREDIBLE! XD I wish pumpkins weren't so darn expensive, then I'd buy one and carve out the Irken Army insignia (wha? whatever). A friend of mine really liked your lantern too =D

jekylljuice 10-31-2007 05:40 AM

Awesome job. :cheese: I checked out the Remy one too...very nice indeed. ;D

Imaginary Light 10-31-2007 11:29 AM

Wow. That's kind of creepy 8D The look in his eyes... XD

I wish I has your superior awesome pumpkin carviing skills!

Diamond Duchess 10-31-2007 11:45 AM

Wow, that's amazing. Great likeness to Cheese there. I can totally see the resemblance: two round, lumpy yellowish things with hollow heads. Nice.

Btw, jekylljuice mentioned a pumpkin with Remy in it; I hope this is referring to a Jack'O Lantern with a rat cook in it, because that would be awesome.

Ub3rD4n 10-31-2007 12:54 PM

Well, that's just freaken awesome!:cheese:

xxxClaire 10-31-2007 12:56 PM

That is SO COOL!!! Great job Sparky! :smed:

Sparky 10-31-2007 12:56 PM

Yeah, here is my Remy pumpkin. Thanks you guys. My first Cheese design was this face:  But then I realised I couldn't do the pupils because they would be floating in the middle of carved-out areas. And it looked weird when I tried to make him looking in one direction or the other (or be totally cross-eyed). I considered hanging red beads from fishing line to make his pupils but then I figured, I'd just make a new pattern of this face :cheese: and just make him looking in one direction so the pupils would be touching the edge of the eyes.

I hope to have a pumpkin site up by next year, mostly about cooking fresh pumpkin and home canning but with a carving section, and I'll have more patterns up there.

Man, when I saw it, I thought it was so creepy, it looked cool ;)

Awesome Sparky!

Lynnie 10-31-2007 07:48 PM

That is kind of creepy looking with the light inside. I like it! Pure awesomrifficness! :cheese: It's so cool how it glows.

Sparky 10-31-2007 08:42 PM

We only had 3 trick or treaters this year (well, compared to the zero we had every previous year since we moved here...) and I don't know if anyone liked my pumpkins. :P Whatever, I took lots of pictures, they're on my DA account.

Carlaz 10-31-2007 09:22 PM

Well done, Sparky! You are one talented gal! :cheese:

KazooBloo 12-26-2016 03:50 AM

Pumpkin doesn't deserve that.
