This thread is about the recently new show in Nickelodeon, iCarly. Miranda Cosgrove stars in this show as Carly. You may also remember her from "School of Rock". The show is cool and funny. Jerry Trainer plays Carly's older brother, Spencer. He's funny and does ridiculous things. The show is about Carly making a web show with her friends Sam and Freddy. You should check out this show it's quite funny. You can find it on the Nickelodeon channel, if you don't know when it airs go to nick.com and go to the TV schedule.

I have to admit that I find the ads for this show far too obnoxious for it to make me want to see the show itself. I hate Sam with a passion, and again that's just from watching the ads. So I really think I will be giving this one a miss.

...and I demand that half-hour of my life back.

I like it, it's one of the best shows to come along in a long time.

I think the girl having a Canon XL1 (Very pricey and not even made anymore) is a just a little unbelievable. Story aside, excuses in the script aside, it's an insult to people who are actually trying to carve their way in the film/video field independantly.
The kids they feature in the show are vapid and jumping on any lame viral band wagin they can ride into the ground.
Painful is how I'd label the show. Absolutly painful.

She has family you know. Like her adult big brother whom she lives with. No one said she bought it.

How can a kids/teen show insult independant film makers? It's not about movies, it's about kids expressing themselves.

I think the kids on the videos are real kids, they can't show anything inappropriate on Nick.
