Sixth Season already in the making!

According to the BlogSpot by The Animation Guild (TAG) team, they made a visit to the CN studio in Burbank on Monday, and have confirmed that Foster?s is already working on their sixth season. Yay! :clap: Of course, we?re still looking forward for the rest of season five. But it?s awesome to have confirmation that they?ve started. Apparently flash animation is going through quite a boom, which is also great news for our beloved Foster?s. Viva Foster?s! :yeah:

Also, there is a PPG special in the making, which no doubt Craig has been busy on as well. So those of us who are simply fans of Craig might be interested in that too. :craig:

That's great, since it also means the remaining Season 5 eps are gonna be aired in upcoming months... or a bit later... or some time around December...

This is why I'm a big fan of CN. :D

I'm just impatiently waiting for the rest of Season 5 to get aired somewhere XD;; (And how long more before Keith loses his voice from too much "Bloo screaming his head off" episodes XD I die of laughter every time I listen to 'Say It Isn't Sew', his voice just reaches pitches that are unnaturally high XD)

It's good to see that the sixth season is on the works. Now, I'm waiting for the rest of season five to continue and to see some returning characters, including one-shot characters.

Thinking about it, I just hope it doesn't mean Foster's ends soon due to having already fulfilled the typical 65/78 episode quota.

Now, I don't exactly understand if this is still season 6 he's speaking of, of if they're returning for......*drumroll*.......Season 7! :o :D I'm keeping my eyes on the TAG blog for any new info on this.

Yeah. If the show is anywhere near its end; we would know by now. As far as I know, we'll see the show continue through at least next year.

My guess is that season six is still in the written stages, and they're going to work on the animation within the next month or so. I'm anticipating Season Six to begin at some point in 2008.

That makes sense, thanks ORD. :bloosmirk: I read they "will be back for a new season of the show", and thought "new?" But yeah, I think I get what he meant now.

I know, I shouldn't going crazy over a season that hasn't even been started yet, as Season 6 is still being worked on. But I can't help it. :D

Great! Ever since I noticed that Foster's and PPG were related, I've become a major McCracken ( I hope I spelled it right) fan, so all of this is good news to me! :craig:

Unfortunately, there hasn't been any official word on a seventh season yet. Last year we learned while season 4 was still airing that season six was "green lighted", so hopefully we'll hear the same of said season 7 before long. I can certainly picture it being green lit again, still being popular and all. But the folks at CN might not think it's worth it another year, with the end of BFAHP and all. It's still a high probability, though, of it coming back for a lucky #7. I'm sending telepathic messages to CN saying "Don't you dare! Don't you dare!! DON'T! YOU! DAAARRRE!!!" :scaryberry:

Foster's is really only just NOW beginning to make a lot of money, having taken awhile to really find its proper niche. It's only recently that we've seen stuff like the clothing line at Hot Topic really expanding, for instance, and the stuff like the calenders being released. It would seem rather foolish for CN to pull the plug now, when the ball is just getting a good roll going. I know that in one of Lauren's last posts here, she stated that she and Craig had not had a vacation or time off in over two years, so they deserve a break, if only for a couple of months, but it seems that they also said that Season Six was "already in the can", which means that it's basically finished, so that would mean that the next season to be worked on WOULD be Season Seven.

Hopefully people will know what you mean by "in the can", but for those that don't, it means the film is in the film can and ready to roll. Foster's in my opinion will go until the writers run out of ideas, or until Craig and Lauren want to stop.

Quite simply, that's fantastic news.:D
