A few new avatars
 

I don't know why, but I enjoy making avatars. Something about the entire process; selecting an image, trimming it, shrinking it, trimming it a little further, making a few minor alterations... it's oddly relaxing. I've made well over two hundred at this point, mostly of non-Foster's images. I've made a few Foster's avatars, too, and I thought I'd pass them along for your inspection and critique:

The last seven are from early in Good Wilt Hunting; the rest are from other episodes. Please note that this is one image, not sixteen separate images, so if you want to use them you'll have to cut them apart yourself. Mind you, I don't really expect them to get used; I just made them for fun, and I thought I'd share the results. :)

But no set is complete without FRANKIE! XDDD

Wow! Those are awesome! Seriously, the positioning of the icons were great and all, the onlyproblems I see is a bit of blur on some of them, likely from resizing screenshots. If I wasn't so addicted to my current icon, (It's actually how I basically picture myslef on the forum now) I would trim one for myself. The ones of Red and Bendy, but I do like that last one with Mac and Bloo. XD

Considering the amazing quality of these, I'd like to see the Frankie ones as well. Hope you get them up some time soon!

Those are actually pretty damn nice. I think every single avatar with Bloo in it is very, very kick ass. I think you really captured a lot of the minor and more interesting character pictures with these avatars.

Especially Bendy, Louise, and I REALLY like that one with Terrance sneaking up behind Mac and Bloo.

Again, just me having some fun and passing along the results, not trying to strike gold or anything. As with the last batch, several of these came from early in Good Wilt Hunting. I was originally going to post these in the Appreciation thread but I opted to post something else there. :frankiesmile:

Yeah, now were talking. I was actually going to snooping around some live journal websites to see if I could find some cute Frankie avatars, but this is much better then I expected. This saves me a long ass trip bumping around the web looking for avatars in god knows how many sites. Nice! ;)

I'd like to use one (probably soon) for my avatar if that's cool with you Cass. I was hoping to maybe use the 5th avatar, first one on the second row? I really like that one, that and the one right below sit sitting cross legged is nice too. I actually still saved that valentine picture you made of 8th pic with Frankie sitting and reading a book.

So yeah, could I possibly use that 5th avatar in the future, or if not that one another?

Thanks. It's surprisingly hard to find decent images of Coco to work with. In that one she's waiting for Douglas and Adam to shut up. ;)

To be honest, I think that's really only important if they're either animated or at least have text on them...If they're just cropped images with no "effects" or anything, its not a big deal, I don't think.

Animated? Me? Er, I don't think we'll have to worry about that for awhile. 8D

Another great set here, Cass! Yeah, I like the one of Bloo with the $$. I also like the one of Mac with the glow around him. And the one of Frankie with Ed, that's a nice smile. "Yes! I! Do!" Lol, I like that line! :frankiesmile:

Does anyone know if there are any good Wilt avatars floating around out there? I haven't seen anything that really suits my personality. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, having cranked out over a hundred non-Foster's avatars in another thread, I thought I really ought to make a few based on our favorite cartoon. This is a Foster's forum, after all. Anyway, here's the newest set:

A number of these were made from various works of fanart instead of episode screencaps. The four in the top row were made from a screencap of the old "Adopt-A-Friend" game from a few years ago. Most of the rest I couldn't remember who made the original pics if my life depended on it, although two of the Wilt avs came from pics by Jagg17, and the second pic of Red is Sparky's ottoman. The pastel background in the second Wilt pic is by me. Worked rather well, I think. ;D

Yes, I know there are no new Frankie avatars in this set. She gets the next set all to herself and they, too, are mostly derived from fanart. They're up next. :frankiesmile:

These are all terrific, Cass. I especially like the fan art ones. I remember the one of Bloo wearing the hat in the snow, such an awesome picture. I think it was submitted before I joined so I don't remember who did it either. If the creator of that is reading this, awesome job! :bloosmirk: I do however recognize CG's art. I like her style. :smed: But I love them all.

(Smacks self in head) You know, considering how much of her art I've downloaded, you think I'd recognize it myself. Might help if I'd renamed the file something other than "653378". Yes, that is definitely CG's work, and if she's reading this, another tip of the hat for a job well done. :smed:

Sure, help yourself. Bear in mind though that they're all one image and will need to be separated, although if anyone requests it I'll happily do it for them. All images were either downloaded directly or in some cases captured with ScreenHunter, and all were edited with Paint.

The Frankie avatars I mentioned will be up later today. :frankiesmile:

Except for the one of my teen Frankie Sim, all these were made from some of the best pics on DeviantArt. I tip my hat to the original artists for making such fine creations; may the rest of the site follow your lead. Unfortunately I had to leave out some very good pics for technical reasons, like not shrinking well or couldn't be trimmed. Some of these will be getting a line or two of text and the glitter treatment, same as my own avatar. :frankiesmile:

When it's done right, there's no fanart quite like Frankie Foster fanart. :-*

I recognize the third one. Can't remember who drew her, but I liked her style, too. I also really like the one of her kneeling/sitting on the floor (and you put a pastel background on), it's sweet. I also really like the second to the last one and the last one. Excellent examples. You're going to animate some of them? Awesome, I can't wait to see! :D

Oh my, oh my, oh MY! Those are beyond kick ass, absolutely gorgeous and what a smoking little picture source too :-* but seriously, that is a great bunch of avatars. The best looking Frankie ones yet. I particularly like the top 2 rows of avatars best. I always new Deviantart had some really good Frankie pics.

I used some of them in my "Girls of my dreams" music video on my Youtube account. I'd love to use the first one, would that be cool with you Cass? These are too good not to show off after all.
