Frankie Foster's closet

The purpose of this thread is very simple; it's for pictures of Frankie, and only Frankie (hence the title), wearing outfits that we don't see on the show. While I imagine that the thread will contain mostly shots of my Frankie Sim, which is the reason I created it, everyone else is by all means enouraged to contribute their own original works of art (nothing naughty or of questionable taste, please). Just use the above as guidelines, and let your imagination do the rest.

We begin with a familiar shirt:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC001.jpg

It's Monday morning, the first day of Autumn in Foster's Valley, and it's too hot to be cooking breakfast while wearing a green sweater, so away it went. Omelets are on the menu today. Here's another view, as breakfast is served:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC002.jpg

Eyes back in your heads, boys. An extra special thank-you to Sparky, who created the shirt. Great work! :)

One of the early pics of Frankie on the official Production Blog showed her in a denim outfit of some sort, while another showed her with blonde hair. I got it into my head to combine them, and this was the result:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC003.jpg

It almost doesn't look like Frankie. I think it looks pretty good, although the hair takes some getting used to.

One of my favorite outfits in the entire game:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC004.jpg

The reason it's one of my favorites is because it's the outfit worn by Sarah Sussman, the very first Sim that I ever created. Her story is in the Sims thread on the old Forum, where it was the subject of my 1000th post. She's still one of my favorites and always will be. :)

Another denim outfit:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC005.jpg

Perfect for a trip downtown, I think, which is where she was heading. I think she's smiling because she's happy to get out of the house for awhile. The IF's are in school, Madam Foster and Mr. Herriman are right behind her, and Woof is already in the cab. They're off to the Commandgo Emporium for lunch, a little relaxation, and to pick up one more outfit:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC006.jpg

Who says redheads can't wear purple? I think it looks fantastic! @_@

Comments are appreciated, as always. More to come; stay tuned.

pitbulllady 05-10-2007 10:37 AM

I'm a redhead and *I* wear purple, and it's one of my "best" colors. I think those Sims look great and really DO like just like I'd imagine Frankie to look in "real life", by the way.

Cool! That 2nd denim one especially is really good, it really goes with Frankie's DIY-punk thing. Everyone looks cool in denim.

Bloo2daMacs 05-10-2007 04:55 PM

Wow! Those are great Cassini! I imagine that if Frankie were out here, in our real world, she would look exactly like her forms in those shots.

Carlaz 05-10-2007 08:42 PM

 Fabulous work Cassini! I really like the purple outfit & the denim one.

One Radical Dude 05-10-2007 09:38 PM

Not bad, Cassini. The purple looks great on her.

Medikor 05-12-2007 10:43 AM

I'm glad to see that you're still doing these, Cassini. I particularly like the first two with the PPG shirt that we're all familiar with.:D

Cassini90125 05-14-2007 06:24 PM

Thanks, everyone.

Take a look at this:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...i90125/F6J.jpg

It's the same outfit, in six different colors. Which one do y'all think looks best on her? I'm partial to #4, but not by much; in truth, I think they all look pretty good on her. You guys pick a color, I'll include a larger shot of the winner in a future post here. (If there's a tie, I'll flip a coin or something.)

Mr. Marshmallow 05-14-2007 07:08 PM

I personally think the 4th one (pink) is also a good dress for Frankie, I also really like the 6th and last one, the blue one. I think that has a more of a casual/fancy look to it but that's just me personally.

As I said before I love purple so Frankie will look good in any form of it considering how hot she is in her already purple skirt. I personally dislike the blue jean "town outfit", it seems wrong for someone like Frankie and just doesn't fit her age or personality if you ask me.

I love the blue sweater and pink pants though, very cute and very "sweet" looking.

Cutelilteen 05-14-2007 07:14 PM

I'm a red head and I almost always wear purple.8D

All your Frankies look great! Personally though, I like number 4 and number 6 the best. :)

frankie_fan 05-14-2007 11:04 PM

The 4th one. Nuff said!

Howard 05-15-2007 05:52 AM

I'll take Frankie #4 Bob!

xxxClaire 05-16-2007 02:44 PM

I like 2, 4, and 6.

Probably 4 the best.

Howard 05-18-2007 11:27 AM

Finally! Another drawing for the forum, and for this particular thread no doubt!

We "dig" our Frankie!

Cassini90125 05-18-2007 02:56 PM

I love the color choices, and how you captured her competitive side. Nicely done, dude! (Adds pic to collection)

frankie_fan 05-18-2007 07:00 PM

That rocks! Brilliant job!

Partymember 05-18-2007 08:18 PM

right click, "save as"

beautiful work!

Bloo2daMacs 05-19-2007 12:56 PM

I especially love Frankie's expression in that picture, Duck.

Oh, and the Frankie Sim dresses, I really think she looks good in #4, but #1 also looks good. I guess I'm used to her original colors. *shrug*

Edit: Now I'm tempted to draw something of Frankie... hmmmm...

Howard 05-19-2007 06:28 PM

I want to thank you folks for your wonderful comments, and I am here to say that there is more. I am working on one where she is up to bat. Like her Coco Card said, she has an incredible batting average. BOO-YAH!

By the way, I will be working on Cassini's request after this one.

Cassini90125 05-24-2007 01:54 PM

Looking forward to it!

If Frankie had gone to private school (and for all we know she did), do you think her uniform might have looked something like this?

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF01.jpg

Everytime I look at that photo I'm tempted to fire up the InSIMenator, roll back her age, and pack her off to college. I haven't, of course, as the House would fall apart without her. Still, it's something to think about. In any case, one good school uniform deserves another:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF02.jpg

Oh, come on! You all knew I was going to dress her in a Sailor Moon outfit sooner or later! 8D

I'll spend the rest of the year apologising to her for it, too.

This one I caught by accident:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF03.jpg

I had tried this outfit on her while playing the House and saved the game without changing her back into her regular clothes. The next day I was playing a different lot and sent the residents there to the mall. Frankie happened to walk by, and I paused the game and got the shot. I like this outfit a lot. And, with all due respect to Craig, I think my version of Frankie has better legs. ;D

As much as I like the last outfit, I like this one even better:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF04.jpg

Dress #4 from the six choices in post #8, caught under the same circumstances as the previous outfit. Here's another look:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF05.jpg

These two shots are among my favorites of all the Frankie pics I've taken. It's mid-Autumn in Foster's Valley, there's a light rain falling, and the colors and hues are all in perfect harmony. And look at her expression in the second shot; I live for expressions like that.

And finally, Frankie as you've never seen her before:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF06.jpg

Fine chainmail armor, green suede leather boots, and a massive broadsword. Here's another look:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFF07.jpg

And, as she demonstrates in this video shows, she knows how to use that sword, too:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXWuWqTWt4A

Bet that Dylan guy is running for his life right about now. 8D

Medikor 05-24-2007 05:03 PM

I really like numbers 3, 4 and 6. But if I had to pick only one it would be 4 since that one just draws my eyes more then the others. :D
And great pick, Ducky! Is it any coincidence that the volleyball is blue?;)8D

Bloo2daMacs 05-24-2007 05:09 PM

At some parts in that video, it looks almost like she's saying something like " Oh no you didn't!" Ecxept, with a sword in her hand. I really don't think that's safe :P

If she's anything like me then she keeps her swords blunted or false-edged for her own safety as well as others. Don't worry.;)

xxxClaire 05-24-2007 05:40 PM

Haha! I love Frankie with the sword! 8D And I love that school uniform outfit! It looks great!

Howard 06-04-2007 04:26 PM

Slowly but surely, I have posted another image of Frankie. By request, she is in Scooby-Doo Daphne garb. Enjoy!:-*

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...eAsDaphnec.png

Cassini90125 06-04-2007 05:13 PM

Oh, my...

@_@

That is absolutely fantastic!!! She looks so amazing in purple. You've got to do more like this!:frankiesmile:

Mr. Marshmallow 06-04-2007 05:53 PM

Very nice, very sexy, Frankie does indeed look beautiful in purple and oddly enough, she looks quite hot as Daphne.

You made her look great in that outfit and you got her hair down perfectly and the curve on her face, it looks JUST like her. Nice job man, nice job.

I totally agree! If anything, I want to see more of Frankie as famous movie characters!

Medikor 06-04-2007 07:40 PM

Wow, Duck, that is great! Keep up the good work! Actually, I was thinking that it would be neat to see Frankie dressed as Blossom from PPG's. Bloo could be all grumpy dressed up as Bubbles and Madam Foster could be Buttercup.
I thought of that when I was trying to think of what Frankie would wear on Halloween.8D I'd draw it but my drawing skills have greatly diminished after high-school.:( Maybe it's time to pick up the pencil again...

Howard 06-04-2007 08:58 PM

Once again folks, I want to thank ALL of you for your comments and feedback regarding the Frankie/Daphne pic. I am currently working on one that was supposed to be out before the Daphne look. It was the Frankie up to bat. I am doing different thumbmails of it right now, and see which pose I really want to do.

Mr. Marshmallow 06-04-2007 09:00 PM

For Halloween outfits, if there ever was one I wanted to see drawn on Frankie it would definitely be Misty from Pokemon. It's a simple and yet attractive outfit and Frankie's already a red head so you already got a step up in that area.

The Powerpuff girl thing would be kind of funny, ironic actually. Also Frankie would make a down right delicious Ariel the mermaid :-*.

Ub3rD4n 06-04-2007 11:16 PM

Well, if we're gonna talk characters she has a close phsysical resembalance to, you can't go past Vicky the evil babysitter. Same hair, similar duds, same voice actor, and Vicky's voice sounds just like a more sickly sweet version of Frankie's.

Howard 06-07-2007 06:31 PM

Well I did not provide the Frankie at bat (I am still working with that one). I do have this little pic of Frankie, with her hair in the wind - enjoy!

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ownFrankie.png

Cassini90125 06-07-2007 07:19 PM

Cassini is again pleased with you.

Nice work!

Crash-N-Cortex 06-07-2007 08:03 PM

Wow, duck2k, your Frankie artwork is quite incredible. It's really resembles the Frankie we know from Fosters.

Howard 06-08-2007 08:21 AM

Cass - Always a pleasure to provide good drawings.

Crash - I am a perfectionist. While I throw in my own little things, I like to keep the integrity of a toon character that is not my own.

xxxClaire 06-08-2007 08:29 AM

Wow! That one's really good!

Very nice pic, Duck! I love how you stay so true to the character but put in your own twist.:D

Thanks Medikor. I look at it this way: Frankie is a redhead, and her eyes are green (according to her license), so I figured she has freckles as most redheads do. I still kept the Foster's style instead of mine (I do have my own toons).
