March update

March update is here,

I will edit this post when I get more information on the mini-games.

The attic is open:
it looks like the elevator takes you to the attic that contains the gym
I am gussing the Stairs will bring you to the roof ?(i did not check and it may be in the last update)

Everyone is in last months locations here are some of them to remind people:
Bloo middle bedroom on 3rd floor
mac middle classroom 4th floor
madam foster tea room 3rd floor
coco toy room 4th floor
Wilt nap room 3rd floor
frankie snack room 4th floor
ed doctor office 4th floor (next to stairs on bottom)
The First Bloo adventer Kind of reminds me of Muppets in Space.

Choo Choo Challenge
I have little advice for this one,
just jump and avaoid bad things, aim for getting the whole word foster,
since that brings the most points but it is difficult to accomplish,
I was able to get the High Score of the first game by level 20.
the location of the gifts and enemys vary a bit when you have to replay a level, Game 2 is more difficult than the first but the lots of practice should get you through, I reached the high score by Level 15 in game 2 (after 6 tries).
however the level itself is the same,(tracks are the same)
Jumping at the wrong time will make you miss things.
Sometimes it is best to drop down to the lower track then jump back up.
This game can be difficult but take your time, practice and it gets easier.
With the umbrella you can destroy Barrels rolling twords you
You must shoot the Switches to drop the drawbridge, jumping does not work.
When in the air you can go faster or slower by using the arrows.
shooting cupcakes has three different directions High (left arrow), low (right arrow) and normal.

70 pts for spelling fosters
10 pts per letter
2 pts per Box
10 pts for destroying moving obsticals
10pts for shooting bloo's food
Note: stationary obsticals kill you.

Game 1: All Aboard! 2300
Easter Eggs: Coco's Favorite.(Buddie)
Hanging Clock: Time for hanging out.

Game 2: Derailed 2400
Choo Choo Train: All aboard!(Buddie)
Sculpture: Salbloodor Dull-li.

Game 3:Bloo's Caboose 3300
Tiger Lamp: Beyond your wildest dreams.
Lobster Phone: Don't pinch your ear!
Eye Window: It looks through you.
Easter Bunny: Hop to it! (Buddie)

Glider Rider
This one is difficult at first,
Continue to press z to keep flying,
Collect stars but do not worry about getting all of them
Avoid geting hit or crashing is the first priority
Press the down arrow at the end of the level to get bonus points on platform,
TIme it right for the most points (approximatly when the glider is half way across the distance indicator).
THe secret to getting the high score is to balloon the enemys but since this is difficult and takes practice to get accurate with, aim just try not to Die.
there is pleanty of time to get past the cannon after they fire thier first shot.
As you get to higher levels there are more enemies, hence more points.
Carefull trying to end the game after reaching the high score since hitting obstacles deducts points.
I was able to get the High score on this one by level 15 playing very agressively.

1 pts Collect star
5 pts hit bird with Ballon
10 pts hit Cannon with Ballon
10 pts Pot of Gold
platform
20 Pts TOp
10 pts Middle
5 pts Bottom
-5 pts Hit obstacles (like trees or house)

Game 1: High Flying 2500
Cowboy Hat (Hat)
Bee: Bzzzzzz! (Buddie)
Surreal Poster: Art Needs no Explanation
Watch Bed: Like a built-in alarm clock!

Game 2: Geronimo!! 2200
Vaudevillian Tune (Music)
Sand Floor: Please wear sandals.
Fried Egg Rug: Sunny Side Up!

Game 3:Wild Bloo Yonder 2000
Wizard Hat. (Hat)
Cloud Wall: It's always cloudy in here.
Foster's Wardrobe: With hand-drawn drawers.

For the March update the roof is open or at least half of it. You can unly get up with the elevator, the stars are closed. The roof is a gym, you got a steam room, weight room, basketball court and locker room.

The characters haven't changed their places, they are still where they were before.

The game room has expended. Now there is place for max of 6 new games. They will either continue with the game or give six new games for the last update.

There are two new games this update Glider Rider and Choo Choo Challenge.
I unlocked Glide Rider and it takes forever to finish, but I will let Monty take care of the game details. Monty always gives great description and great tips on how to beat it.

montitech 03-19-2007 09:55 AM

Even though there is room for 6 more games in the arcade, I think there will be 2 more games, due to the current size of the Photo albums.

to elaborate.
Ed's album shoul dbe completed this month.
The IF and wilt are already completed.
CoCo album will have between 5-7 missing photos at the end of this update,
and the Mac and Bloo album will have 13 missing photos at the end of this update,

so for 2 minigames, that will give 6 adventures.
the 6 adventures will give 6 mac and bloo photos,
then 7 mac and bloo photos to unlock in mini-games,
and about 5-7 Coco to unlock in mini-games.

natutally I could be wrong. Assuming the Token signs do not move then there is only 4 positions for mini-games. on a worst case If they give us 4 minigames, they will definately give some unlocked levels. Or they may expand one of the photo albums again.

Ok I just did the first adventure and it was help bloo talk to the astronauts *sp* in space by mowing a message into the yard. Bloo is stupid in this game. 8D

I do not think it was stupid. Mowing a Message into the grass that can be seen from outer space was What Gonzo did in Muppets From Outer Space as I referenced earlier. I think it was clever that they parodied one of my favorite movies.

Stjimmy666 03-19-2007 01:44 PM

OH, I didn't see that reading the first post, sorry. The mumpets mowed a message for space men? That makes it cool!!! Haha I love the mupets, sadly I didnt see that movie

Prince-Vegeta 03-19-2007 06:04 PM

I think it was cool mowing the loan with a huge toy car.

p.s. Monty, Mac is in the 4th floor.

not that this matters... but i was talking to wilt today and he asked me if i had been to the sixth floor cause he likes to work out there... but if you go there on the elevator it says you are going to the roof...

Stjimmy666 03-21-2007 12:14 PM

odd but i guess it is the sixth floor, its not realy a roof, i know before it opened i thought it would be like on top of the house, like a fensed in place where u can see the view

claire82 03-21-2007 12:46 PM

By the way, does anyone know when they're going to show us the new secret code on tv? Unless it's already been released...

Vicks 03-21-2007 02:10 PM

Thanks for the tips, Monty!! That blasted Choo Choo game drove me nuts! I officially hated it until I finally beat the high score (by level 15 WOOT!). :bloosmirk: That's one game I most likely won't be playing again. 8D

Question - How were you able to unlock Level 2 already? If you had your Adventure already for when the update happened, and went and unlocked a game, that would give you Level 1. But wouldn't that mean that you would unlock Level 2 tomorrow (or later tonight, depending on your Time Zone)? Just was wondering. :bloocross:

I Max out all my bars and then wait for the new update.
So i unlock a minigame and then Go on adventure with Bloo.
not the other way around. I was able to get ahead by doing favors after I finished all my Bloo adventures.

I been doing this since August
and with 4 accounts at BFAHP I usually get to unlock all the minigames on the first day

so when the updates are released in login and do the following in order
unlock minigame,
play minigame, replay till win all collectables
go adventure for bloo
Do chours (Call a friend for half of one chore)
do a favor
Logout with 3 citizenship and 7 popularity
Thus 2 days to unlock second game.

It looks like a Surreal type of theme split between both mini-games
typically a theme has 11 pieces, and so far between all four levels there is only half the pieces of one theme.

Oh Ok cause wikipedia said Glider Rider Was A Art Theme

Thanks Montitech :)

montitech 03-21-2007 08:03 PM

I could see someone calling it art,
but thats a bit broad of a theme,
it is more of surreal art. (ignore the Feb stuff)

Yeh its a rough game,

It toom ne about 4 or 5 tries to get use to it,
bassically get good at avoiding the baddies, houses and trees.
Then get good at killing the Cannons.
remember the controls are not so good with giving multiple commands at once, so you cannot shoot and go up at the same instance.
Shooting lots of balloons is useless since you run out and it makes controling your IF harder. so only shoot one or two balloons to kill an enemy, if you miss then just Dodge it. once you get to higher levels and you get better aim the points come quicker.

Any advice for Game 2 of the Choo Choo game? For the life of me I can't get past Level 10. I get hung up on the springy tracks on Level 7 and by the time I get to 10, I've spent most of my lives between 7 and 9. I've tried jumping and aiming for those springy things, but usually just fall off.

I had a hard enough time getting used to the game on Game 1, and now Game 2. I'm going to hate 3. So any advice is appreciated. At least I was able to get the Glider game relatively easier, but still it was a while getting used to it. Both these games on this update are more challenging, which I welcome, but still... :P lol :bloocross:

I added more hints to Choo choo yesterday to post#1.

for those jump pads, they are rough, IF you are not going fast enough you miss the first pad. once you hit the first pad use the left arrow to go slower, and take one pad at a time, you do not need to use the jump key on the pads just guide yourself (and pray)

Vicks 03-26-2007 01:13 AM

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Monty!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY beat the highest score to get the prizes. I was stuck at getting just under 1900 for far too long. lol I didn't even think to measure my jumps to hit each platform. I was jumping on the first, jumping over the second to the third, jumping over the forth to get to the fifth, then onto the track again. It was hit and miss, but more miss than it was hit, as you have to be just right in order to do it. I never really used the arrow keys on my jumping in Game 1, so I had forgotten about it completely. I never really shot at anything either. I never got the tacks, Army guys or pencils to go away, so I gave up on shooting them.

Anyway, THANKS! I finally got all the prizes, and am finished with that darn game. Well, until I unlock Game 3 of it. :macwor: Oh well. :bloocross: I'm just glad to be done with that one.

Please note in Choo Choo Challenge you cannot kill the stationary obsticals, but you get points for shooting the moving obstacles.

Also I forgot to post Game 3 of Choo CHoo on saterday but it's been added to post 1.

Another minor update from this month was the inclusion of....."In Game Advertising".

Today for example I logged in and saw posters for that new Disney computer generated flick (Meet The Robinsons) plastered in various place around the house. (There was one on the first floor, and a couple of the fifth floor.)

Yay. :jk:

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...anchula/ad.jpg

J@ro_Link 03-26-2007 02:54 PM

And i saw a few in the backyard. Anyway i think they found an idea that might give them money from this game, i wouldn't be suprised if there will be some minigames, buddys, hats or other stuff which is connected with that movie.

Money makes the world go round. :bendy:

taranchula 03-26-2007 04:07 PM

Well endorsements are all well and good, I just hope they aren't the kind of ad's that infect one's computer with spyware and ad ware, like some in game ads have been known to do.

CG 03-26-2007 07:24 PM

Huh... why would a site run by Cartoon Network advertise Disney movies?

i think they updated the glider rider game and added in more extra buckets ot water balloons.. the first time i played it the other day i kept running out of ammo... but i played again yesterday and i noticed there were tons of extra buckets of ammo... it also seemed like they added in more extra lives... maybe not... i dunno...

THe power ups in this game are random.
each time you play a level, things move arround a bit.

While Choo CHoo is only random when the level is generated, the tracks and power ups do not regenerate when you replay a level, but location of those items are random each game.

here is a tip for beating the third level of choo choo challenge... i had to play several times before i got the top prize score of 3300, but once i got that i passed it and ended up w/ over 5000... he he he...
just keep shooting the pink elephants constantly and you will hit the junk bloo is throwing at you and you get 10 points for everything you hit... i just kept shooting constantly and hit almost everything he threw... but still try to get the letters of course... but hitting everything bloo throws plus getting all the letters makes you win faster...
also... when you have the choice of jumping to a top track or a bottom track, 90% of the time it is better to go for the bottom track...
and another tip is that when you see the presents stacked straight up in the air try to ignore them cause getting them almost always makes you miss a letter or makes you miss a jump to another track and you fall...

coco_4_ever 03-30-2007 09:53 AM

i used my adobe photo maker and did this, this is what the new theme would look like, i took the 2 photo's and i copied and pasted the missing pieces together :D ... yes people i got realllllly bored 8D

I've been meaning to bump this thread as it's got vital information that people have been inquiring about, especially about the latest mini-games. At least now it's not a shameless bump, as I actually have a question. 8D

I was wondering if we've done all of the Adventures now for this latest update. I lost count and can't remember what the last Adventure was for Feb. I just finished the one where
Spoiler Below
Bloo is hiding from Mr. Herriman, it gives you Mac & Bloo photo #47
. Anyway, I figured Monty would know, so thought I'd ask. :bloosmirk:
