well, im not sure if this goes here or in the spam section, but i think it goes here.
anyway, if you had to pick any song, what would you say would be most definetly your life's theme song? id have to say "welcome to my life" by simple plan is the one song that i relate to mostly. maybe because every time i listen to it i can find something to every verse that reminds me of me. so yeah, thats my theme. |
My Name is Nobody by Ennio Morricone
|
i'll have to groove on this for a while...

Easy one for me...
"Here in this Diary" by the Ataris |
"Square One" by Coldplay
You're in control, is there anywhere you wanna go? You're in control, is there anything you wanna know? The future's for discovering The space in which we're travelling From the top of the first page To the end of the last day From the start in your own way You just want somebody listening to what you say It doesn't matter who you are It doesn't matter who you are Under the surface trying to break through Deciphering the codes in you I need a compass, draw me a map I'm on the top, I can't get back Whoa whoa The first line on the first page To the end of the last page From the start in your own way You just want somebody listening to what you say It doesn't matter who you are It doesn't matter who you are You just want Somebody listening to what you say Oh, you just want somebody listening to what you say It doesn't matter who you are It doesn't matter who you are Is there anybody out there who Is lost and hurt and lonely too Are they bleeding all your colours into one? and if you come undone As if you've been run through Some catapult it fired you You wonder if your chance will ever come Or if you're stuck in square one |
I dunno. Altough it's just a melody, it's probably Burning Heat! (3OM). Yes, it's DDR. :D

It seems to me that I ought to have a theme song...but I can't think of one. Maybe "Explosive" by Bond. It's instrumental so I don't have to explain the lyrics. ;) But otherwise, I like the energy of it, though it's not frantic. |
Awhile ago I got told that my theme song was Unwell by Matchbox 20 but I got on top of all of that and now I'd like to think it's something really dorky but fun. Like Dance Commander by Electric Six! (Not the meaning of the words just the style of the music)
|
I'd say mine is probably either One and Lonely or Na Na, both by Superchic[k]. They both have lyrics that fit me pretty well. Although Na Na probably fits me better because people judge me before they even know me... Oh, well. I'll just say both for now!

Sick Man Alice in Chains
I can feel the wheel, but I can't steer, when my thoughts become my biggest fear, ah what's the difference I'll die, ah in this sick world of mine...:bendy: |
mine is: ''Hellraiser'' by Motorhead
that's my theme song since i've heard it for the first time. it must be 1995 8-) I'm living on an endless road Around the world for rock and roll Sometimes it feels so tough But I still ain't had enough I keep saying that it's getting to much But I know I'm a liar Feeling all right in the noise and the light But that's what lights my fire Hellraiser, In the thunder and heat Hellraiser, Rock you back in your seat Hellraiser, And I'll make it come true Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you Walking out on another stage Another town, another place Sometimes I don't feel right Nerves wound up to damn tight Don't you tell me it's bad for my health 'Cos kicking back don't make it Out of control, I play the ultimate role Don't know how to fake it Hellraiser, In the thunder and heat Hellraiser, Rock you back in your seat Hellraiser, And I'll make it come true Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you [Repeat first verse] Hellraiser, In the thunder and heat Hellraiser, Rock you back in your seat Hellraiser, And I'll make it come true Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you |
Mine would be I'm Still Here by John Rzeznik
I am a question to the world Not an answer to be heard Or a moment, that's held in your arms And what, do you think you'd ever say? I won't listen anyway You don't know me And I'll never be what you want me to be And what, do you think you'd understand? I'm a boy, no, I'm a man You can't take me, and throw me away And how, can you learn what's never shown? Yeah you stand here on your own They don't know me, cause I'm not here And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel Wanna hold on, and feel I belong And how, can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same They don't know me, cause I'm not here And you, see the things they never see All you wanted, I could be Now you know me, and I'm not afraid And I, wanna tell you who I am Can you help me be a man? They can't break me As long as I know who I am And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel Wanna hold on, and feel I belong And how, can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same They can't see me, but I'm still here They can't tell me who to be Cuz I'm not what they see Yeah the world is still sleeping While I keep on dreaming, for me And their words are just whispers and lies That I'll never believe And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel Wanna hold on, and feel I belong And how, can they say I'll never change? They're the ones that stay the same I'm the one now, cause I'm still here I'm the one, cause I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here |
I don't really have a theme song. Can someone think of a theme song for me? 8D At one point, I thought of the Chrono Theme from Chrono Trigger being a theme of mine. :P
|
My theme song can be 'Love Me or Hate Me' by Lady Sovereign. The two verses really fit me. :D

Lol @ idril.
ORD: Hehe, Chrono Trigger, I remember playing that game. I don't remember what you mean by Crono's Theme - Wasn't that the title screen or something? |

Lol t, I already checked that exact link. But that's not what you can call upbeat IMHO! ;D
|
I'd say Floating on the Wings of Steam (Remix) by Chris Vrenna from the American McGee's Alice soundtrack. It's entirely instrumental, but I feel like the song is SO me in description. I could go anywhere with that playing.
|
I'd have to say Zeppelin's "Ramble On" The lyrics fit me almost exactly, and the actual music reflects my personality, too. I love that song.
|
On the Outside by Oingo Boingo. The song is 27 years old, but it fits me perfectly. Though I really wish it didn't.

No matter how I feel currently or how I think I'm feeling, I think this song always reminds me of who I am:
"In this diary" by the Ataris Here in this diary, I write you visions of my summer. It was the best I ever had. There were choruses and sing-alongs, And not a spoken feeling. I'm knowing that right now is all that matters. All the nights we stayed up talking And listening to 80's songs; Quoting lines from all those movies that we love. It still brings a smile to my face. I guess when it comes down to it... Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up: These are the best days of our lives. The only thing that matters Is just following your heart And eventually you'll finally get it right. Breaking into hotel swimming pools, And wreaking havoc on our world. Hanging out at truck stops just to pass the time. The black top's singing me to sleep. Lighting fireworks in parking lots, Illuminate the blackest nights. Cherry cokes under this moonlight summer sky. 2015 riverside, it's time to say, "goodbye." Get on the bus, it's time to go. Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up: These are the best days of our lives. The only thing that matters Is just following your heart, And eventually you'll finally get it right |
I don't know, but I think it's "Cinderella" by The Cheetah Girls. I don't remember all the words, but at least here's a chorus:
I ain't like Cinderella Sitting in a cold rusty shelter Waiting for somebody To come and set me free I don't remember the rest of the chorus, but I do know that the end of the chorus is "I will rescue myself". I really don't know if it really is my theme song, but it's the closest, so if I found a better one that suits me more, I'll let you know.:) |
While the city sleeps, I wander the streets,
Wanting it some other way My clothes in a bag, tired muscles sag, I've come to the end of my stay I walk through the rain, time pours down the drain, Exhausted, but I can't close my eyes I know that I tried, but I've too much to hide, And I want to stop feeding you lies. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving It still feels the same, all smoke but no flame, You know that I'll never belong Your eyes are so warm, my shelter from storm, Whatever the cost I'm not wrong. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving Any words I choose, still all of us lose, It's my dreams we all have to pay But my driving ambition, leaves no choice in decision, And I won't face another cold day. I don't know how to say I'm leaving I don't know how to say I'm leaving - Taxxi |
Hello from inside a shell
you can see me cause my shell is invisible. It was made especially for me by the brilliant inventor Lecithin E. I ride my unicycle downstairs to his laboratory when I know he's there Working on robotic aquatic bees perfecting his mechanical donkeys or running from exploding test tubes. Hello from inside a shell you can see me cause my shell is invisible. It was made especially for me by the infamous inventor Lecithin E. I ride my boat car through the rays of his reverse megnetitizer when I'm feeling brave. Then everything I touch shoots into space and astronauts shake their fists at us saying be careful. He's promised to build us a world of our own far away from this one In uncharted regions where no one will go. He's promised to build us a world of our own. We'll find an island somewhere near the North Pole And He'll invent lots of strange new animals to inhabit it so we won't feel alone. And we'll be happy there there there all covered in snow. He's promised to build us a world of our own and here we go. Cause there's like totally a point to italicizing all the lyrics we post. 8D |
I'm guessing thats Bowie? Good stuff, thought it was Syd Barret for a second there 8D
here's Ramble On for those of you unfamiliar with it's awseome-riffic coolness: Leaves are falling all around, Its time I was on my way. Thanks to you, Im much obliged For such a pleasant stay. But now its time for me to go, The autumn moon lights my way. For now I smell the rain, And with it pain, And its headed my way. Ah, sometimes I grow so tired, But I know Ive got one thing I got to do, Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. Got no time to for spreadin roots, The time has come to be gone. And tho our health we drank a thousand times, Its time to ramble on. Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. I aint tellin no lie. Mines a tale that cant be told, My freedom I hold dear; How years ago in days of old When magic filled the air, Twas in the darkest depths of mordor I met a girl so fair, But gollum, and the evil one crept up And slipped away with her. Her, her....yea. Aint nothing I can do, no. Ramble on, And nows the time, the time is now To sing my song. Im goin round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way. Ive been this way ten years to the day, ramble on, Gotta find the queen of all my dreams. Gonna ramble on, sing my song Gotta keep-a-searchin for my baby... Gonna work my way, round the world I cant stop this feelin in my heart Gotta keep searchin for my baby I cant find my bluebird! Id listen to my bluebird sing but I cant find my blue bird A-keep-a ramblin baby... |

"She's late for one day of comfort. *dun dun dun. dun dun dun* Only be-cause she has suf-fered. *dundundun. dun dun dun* FULLLY ALIIIIIIIIIIVE!"

I would have to say my theme would be one of my favourite songs of all time: 'Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)' by Deftones. It's one of those songs where you can take the lyrics and put your own meaning to them, I think it would fit with me quite well.
|
Right now? I currently feel my theme song is:
"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt Sadly, I wish it wasn't my theme song at the moment :(, look to my recent posts in the Frankie thread if your wondering why. |
id have to say that my theme right now, considering that i never really stay the same for more than a week, would be basket case by green day. i just feel like, well, look at these lyrics.
"Sometimes I give myself the creeps Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me It all keeps adding up I think I'm cracking up And am I just paranoid? Yeah yeah yeah" |
Unwell by Matchbox Twenty. People always give me strange looks when I say this is my song. 8D

DDR - mr. wonderful
|
Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung. It's mostly due to the fact that I'm always up for having a good time, and people usually have a good time when I'm around.
|
Hooray for the revival of the thread! 8D
My life theme song would probably be "Dreams" by Linda Rodstad. I loved that song so much when I was a teenager, I felt the words explained my life to the T. And the song is pretty too. I still sing it to myself sometimes. The song's bridge is loads of fun to sing. ;) |
heres a gorgeous song dedicated to the Lonely Hearts Club here
