Bloo Bowling Ball

There's another one of these on eBay right now (ending very soon), for those who haven't seen one yet. Lol, these are so cute. :bloogrin

SkittleMonkey 02-01-2007 04:01 PM

Man, I'd totally want one of those things if I didn't hate bowling so much...

derangedperson 02-01-2007 04:54 PM

I WANT ONE.

Carlaz 02-01-2007 06:47 PM

:bloogrin Very cool!

Howard 02-01-2007 07:19 PM

That is soooo cool!

I recall when AMF had those balls available. Being a pretty frequent bowler, I really wanted one, but what I had to do to get one was never well explained by the AMF staff at the various lanes I frequented. I also recall them not having any of significant weight (12-14 lbs), with properly spaced fingerholes.

It's time to check The Big Lablooski for any subliminal advertisement. >=D

I seriously want one. I go bowling 14th of February - in other words I NEED THAT BLOO ONE. :bloogrin

oh man.. that was cool.. to bad i missed it.. it is way too light for me.. but i wanna get one for my nephew!. heheeh...

Ah... I'd get it. If I went bowling more often.

It's not like I'm actually good at it. I go about once or twice a year... Last time, I had stitches in my right arm (I'm right handed) so I had to bowl left handed. Therefore I tried not to hit any pins. I hit one by accident, and I was so mad. 8-) Also, at one point, I had three balls stuck in the gutter at the same time (one that was at the end and I didn't know about, the one I got stuck, and another that got stuck when my friend tried to get it out).

The time before that (and this time it was bumper bowling, and I used my right hand), the ball went over three lanes. Needless to say, the old-guy-taking-his- grandkids-out-for-the-day wasn't very thrilled. Neither was my wallet, which suffered after he insisted that I pay for a new game (which I did happily, then ranted about it later in the car).

So, I'm terrible at bowling.

I would go bowling more often too. Use all those free games that come with my food. haha.

Sparky 04-18-2010 10:37 PM

I am too poor to buy this. And I recently started bowling, too. :'(

Nice items.
Is Bloo on that ball? Or is he the ball?
Funny choice to put Mac on the bag, given his low natural talent for the game (despite being good at that one he plays in Squeakerboxxx- what was that?). Maybe he had lessons.
Is the ball designed for children?

Sparky 04-19-2010 03:25 PM

At 8# it is probably for children, although I usually use a 6#, lol. I *think* the blue backside of the ball has Bloo's face on it.

Howard 04-20-2010 08:26 PM

I would not use it. It would go in my Foster's shrine.

Sparky 04-22-2010 07:45 PM

I am going to keep waiting and hope another gets listed for a more reasonable price, and a better weight. There's a Billy and Mandy ball up now, 12#, only like $65 with free shipping. I''m considering it, but I dunno. I like B&M, but I dunno if I like it *that* much. However I did find a couple online stores that stock the regular CN bowling bag as well as a cute rolling bag with Bloo's face on it. So that's good to know. (edit: I went ahead and ordered the roller bag, because its a good deal.)

Ditto. However, I suppose I'd be inclined to go bowling more often if I bought that ball.

Different links in these threads are showing me different FHIF merch.
