I currently have a 40 min delay in Houston, due to a captain needing to arrive from another city.

Lynnie 07-28-2009 05:50 PM

Ah, so the delay isn't weather related. That's good.

Here's your little friend, Cass. Seen much better here than we could see on the little screen on my camera.

Yep, looks just like the one in my room last night. I left him the empty pizza box; no doubt he found it.

I'm back in my home state. Boo. lol The travel went well. I did have a big scare before going to sleep last night into this morning. I noticed that my camcorder was not with me. I asked Rid if he saw me with it, and he said he didn't recall me bringing it back from San Diego. I know for a fact that I brought it with me on the train northbound to Anaheim. I ended up going to the Anaheim Amtrak/Metrolink Station and explained what happened and the description of the lost item. The woman called to find out if anything was returned, and she told me that the cam was returned at the Union Station in LA. So, the people at Amtrak had the item sent back to Anaheim on a southbound train from LA, and I had them leave me a message and contact Rid about it, since he's the only one that could get the cam. He's going to ship it tomorrow. Huge sigh of relief. And hooray, good, honest people out there still exist!!

Now, I gotta get ready for work in the morning. Fuuun.

Lynnie 07-28-2009 09:02 PM

Whew, another one made it home safely. Good to hear your camera is ok, that would indeed be scary. Looking forward to seeing some of the video! :)

I need to scan or photograph the two sketches Craig did for me. I'll try to do that tonight.

Cassini90125 07-28-2009 09:10 PM

Which reminds me, I should get to work on the photos I took. I'll be clearing out the old albums on my profile page so if y'all want one last look at the current pics you'd best look soon. ;)

On a somewhat related matter, I read a rumor somewhere that the four-day passes for Comic-Con 2010 may cost $100.00. Just a rumor, mind you, but it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be true.

One Radical Dude 07-28-2009 09:25 PM

The $100 deal is truth (it was the onsite price and will be the price, once they start selling them online (which I heard they're going to start doing within a few weeks). I still went for it, but yeah, it did go up. Not sure if it has to do with them trying to prevent it from selling out quickly or if some of the funds are going to go to possibly contribute to expansion of the San Diego Convention Center (which does need to happen). I know $100 is a lot of money, though.

Lynnie 07-28-2009 09:31 PM

I'm surprised the price didn't go up last year. I don't think that's too bad a jump, especially after keeping it the same price two years in a row. Not to say it's not a lot of money, because it is. But it's worth it, isn't it? :)

And now, for my 2,000th post, here's the sketches I got. :)

They were planning to expand it by 65,000 square feet according to one guy I talked to. They could definitely use the extra room.

Bloo's smirking again. 8D

Oh, that's fabulous, Lynnie - you must be pretty chuffed with those! I think Mac looks particularly adorable there. :)
